Little Bodieve Holiday Park, Wadebridge

We stayed in a static caravan which looked very nice at first, one of the sofas inside was covered in sand and there was a lot of dust in obvious places. After the first night we noticed the toilet was leaking, when we reported this the old lady in reception couldn't help and gave us the number of a local maintenance man and expected us to ring him ourselves, this is disgusting service in my opinion. Wouldn't stay here again!!

This Holiday park is an exciting adventure and i absolutely loved it i thought it was value for money and now the clubhouse has been redone it looks amazing so far i have been a couple times and i would strongly recomend it to a friend and i think they will enjoy it because there is lots of attractions the camel trail and it is an amazing experience 5 stars.

Myself and my family stayed at Little Bodieve after struggling to find a reasonably priced camp site around the Polzeath area. For a young family who like their comforts it is perfect. We asked to be situated near the toilets as we have a 3 year old, and this was taken into consideration.

The old lady who ran it was so very pleasant, and rented us a really long electric hook up extension as ours didn't quite reach, and we got the £20 we paid for it back when we returned it! The camp was very tidy and had all the modern amenities; toilets, showers,washing up sinks and even a. Bath and disabled toilet. The play ground is very good and kept my daughter suitably enertained for hours, as did the pool. Though the pool was outdoors and wasn't heated it was still tons of fun. I loved Little Bodieve and would happily go back, just a short distance from my favourite beach in the world, Polzeath (and i've lived in Cyprus!) and right near the city centre. It was quiet throughout the night and not once did we have problems with the neighbours or with entertainment. A pub quiz was put on in the park pub which was good fun, and children were welcome and could dance and play as they wished. All in all Little Bodieve is an excellent site which I would happily use again. It's cheaper than places like Padstow and Polzeath, but is very near to both places. To me it was a little piece of heaven! It is a family run business and this is truly visible, as the ladys' sons can be seen doing various jobs around the park, my daughter said to me'look mummy, the music man is mowing the grass!'' as the DJ from the bar mowed thr lawn near our pitch. An amazing place.

a good family camping site good for all ages my son is 17 and he loved it and my other son is 12 and he wants to live there all the facilaties where grate and the staff happy and frendley

If you want to camp at a reasonable price and with a reasonable distance between yours and the next tent, plus some peace and quiet, then Little Bodieve Holiday Park is NOT for you! We were squashed in like sardines, which we believe contravenes local regulations, and our 'near' neighbours came back to their tent after midnight and made a lot of noise. When we tried to complain we were told there were no refunds, and they didn't think there was a problem. There was no apology, and certainly no impression that the owners cared one way or the other for our welfare. We shall certainly be pursuing our complaint via the council. At £16 per night for two people, this is outrageous.
