Went on P&O Aurora for the first time, although have been on many P&O ships. Was greatly impressed by her and as usual the cabin staff, waiting staff, and bar staff were all very pleasant and efficient. The Headliners Theatre Company did us proud with four fabulous shows and although we didn't go to all the Cabaret performances the two outstanding ones for us were Gary Wilmot & Mike Alexander who performed together and Eve Sherratt. It was our first time to Spitzbergen although we have travelled to Norway before. This was something else. The scenery was fantastic, beautiful, stark and dramatic all at once - in fact breathtaking would be a better description. We arrived back in Southampton on the day of the 175th Anniversary of P&O and although in theory getting everyone disembarked in the space of two hours and bussed to the Aegeus Bowl sounded good, in reality it wasn't a bit of a hassle. Having said all that we had a wonderful holiday, enjoyed every minute and would go back tomorrow.

We booked P&O Ventura N717 round the med with Ideal Cruising and once again they provided excellent service. Their staff are friendly and helpful and have a good knowledge of the cruise lines and the ships, so are able to offer advice about facilities, cabins, etc.

Tickets, cruise information and luggage labels all arrived in plenty of time, so I cannot fault them on that.

The price we paid was matched to the best I could find across all the other on-line cruise specialist companies, so they offer the best value for money too.

Ideal Cruising are staffed by knowledgeable and helpful staff. I've used them on our last 3 cruises and I cannot fault their quality of service.

They will match or better their competitors prices, so I always come back to them once I've researched the best price because I am confident of the quality of service I will receive.

Our recent cruise on Holland America Line's Noordam was the latest of several cruises we have booked through Ideal Cruising. As always, booking was easy, trouble free and great value. On each occasion we have booked with them, we could not fault the service we received. They respond immediately to emails and resolve any queries efficiently and quickly.

This was our first cruise with Holland America and it exceeded our expectations. The ship was lovely, food delicious throughout and the staff friendly and helpful. We flew to Miami and stayed one night in Fort Lauderdale before boarding the ship. Ports of Call were Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Samana, Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay. Ideal Cruising got us a good deal on the cruise and even managed to change our cabin number after we had booked with no trouble at all when we had a change of mind.

We always seek a few quotes when we are planning a cruise but know that we will end up booking with Ideal Cruising. Our Azamara cruise this July was also booked through them, as no doubt will be whatever cruise we decide to do in 2013.

Purchased a Transatlantic cruise through Moneysupermarket but organised by Ideal Cruising. They combined a 2 night trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights and then a night in New York prior to an 8 night voyage on the Queen Victoria back to Southampton.

This was one of the first of these local deals between Ideal Cruising and Moneysupermarket. It took a litle time for all the confirmations to come through from Ideal but we were told this was because the Ideal marketing department had arranged the deal direct with Moneysupermarket and had not kept the admin department informed. This was not a real problem since the admin staff were always very helpful and reassuring.

Ideal were very good and I mentioned that it we would appriciate if they could arrange transfers in Iceland. Within a few days they had contacted everybody who purchased this deal and arranged a dedicated coach for transfer[£25p/p]. They also sent an representative from the UK to supervise the transfers and also our night time trip to see the Northern Lights.

On the Transatlantic Voyage they guaranteed a minimum level of Balcony stateroom. On receiving our tickets etc we were delighted to find out we had been upgraded by three levels. Our Voyage was fantastic and all of this [flights, hotels, cruise] for £899.

Booked a Costa cruise via Ideal cruising for March 2012, as price advertised was very good. Cruise booked OK but had to go with an Easyjet flight later than was ideal. Booked Resort hoppa with them as well.

Bit disappointed about credit card surcharge but all travel agencts add the charge. It is for this reason I have marked them 4 star instead of 5 star.

Tickets etc all arrived in plenty of time and were accurate and easy to understand.

Booking with Ideal cruising was a good experience and I would recommend them for future bookings as the cruise price was unabeatable when compared with other travel agents - I like to do my research before I book.
