Unacceptable Customer Service Handling Refund Request
Went smoothly with the car rental once we arrived. But we called ahead to change the reservation to one less day and when asking the car rental place about a refund, they directed us back to the booking website. We were then told, after the fact, that they didn't do refunds for unused days. It is not an unused day if I called ahead to change the reservation. Why would a car rental office tell us that the booking company would refund the money if they wouldn't? There is a serious lack of communication about booking and changing reservations. Will not use this service again as they have no problem taking your money...

Reserved a car LAX. Car was located in Venice, 10 miles away. Had to hire a taxi ($27) and pay a drop off fee ($50). Not what I reserved on line with Airport Rental Car and Sixt. Will not go through Airport Rental Cars and Sixt again. Also car was dirty and not ready.

Do Not Rely To Have A Car With These Outfit.
Reserved as SUV for my wife to drive for a week through this website and after driving over 15 miles to get the vehicle was told they did not have any cars. I asked to rent anything and was told that the company usually overbooks the rentals and he already had 20 rentals coming with 4 cars available. A total waste of time and energy. Can not believe people can conduct business in this fashion in this day and age. Stay away from these company.

Signed up for one rate for 2 days and got charged almost the same total for one day. At first I thought I had made an error but the daily rate was very different. Also amazing they want to charge 2 days of insurance for what was now a one day rental. Unbelievable. Tried to call the customer service line immediately and got voice mail asking asking to leave name and number. I just cancelled

Third Party Insurance
This company is only out to take your money by putting a third party insurance when you rent car. You think you are paying for insurance through car rental co, your not. No where when you book do they tell you your getting athird party insurance and when you find out and try to cancell third party insurance. They tell you its not refundable. Watch out for this co DO NOT RENT from them. Go directly throught car rental co web site
Do Not Waste Your Money
I had never rented a car before so I decided to go through airportrentals.com
When I got to cancun the rental car company told me that the insurance I had bought was not enough to cover for the damages. They gave me a different quote of $200 aside from the money I had already wasted here. I told the company to take me back to the airport where they had picked me up since I had already gotten a different quote with another company. The other company gave me a quote of $178 dollars with insurance included and $0 deductible. My advice to anyone reading this post is not to rent through third party companies and go directly with the rental companies at the airport and compare prices. I was afraid of not finding a car at the last minute that is the reason why I did it online. At the end I lost $70 dollars because I did it online.

Terrible Company -refused Same Day Refund
Deceptive Unethical AirportRentals.com refused to refund a $30 Credit Card "deposit" when I cancelled the reservation same day it was made. They claim the rental terms and conditions allow them to keep the deposit. Complete Bull. The full terms and conditions for refund follow.

Paid For A Large Car And Got A Medium Car
Launceston, Tasmania. Waited 30mins for a pick up after calling twice. Waited another 30mins for car to be prepared. Car was relatively old for a rental at 30k. Tried to sell me more insurance at counter. In the end, paid a 300 deposit, awaiting refund. BOoked a toyota aurion or equivalent and ended up with a holden malibu which is a size smaller. Usually you get upgraded and not downgraded for the price you paid. but I am not letting this ruin my holiday yet...

All The Car Rental They Sell With Our Insurance, It Is Just
Hi, This website sell car rental without any insurance, and if you go to pick up the cars, the car rental company will say you have to have insurance cover, so they sell you very expensive insurance. The price in the website look cheap sometimes, but finally you have to end up paying much more. I used this company many times, but I just find out their tricky, please totally avoid them

Not the car pictured. Needed five passenger car as illustrated, not what they wanted to give me at the airport. Was told the car they were giving me was not even safe for much traveling! Finally gave in and paid for upgrade what else do you do at 10:00PM in BWI? This is the second time this has happened with this company who, after I called them,told me the car I ordered, per illustration, was not what I was going to get so no one took responsibility for anything. Bait and Switch all the way!!
