Do Not Use This Company!!!!
Let me start by saying that we booked the car rental through third party. Having never rented a car in Europe before we aren't familiar with the different gas policies or extra charges, and we should have read them over so we will take responsibility for that! However! The rudeness and unprofessional comments of their staff is unacceptable. After emailing the third party website and Aquarius Car Rental the response from Aquarius was prompt however it’s not hard to see where the rudeness starts as the person who responded to my complaint took offence to my informing them that the staff were rude and ignorant. They stated that it’s not possible that two members of their staff were rude and that since we called them ignorant, we are vulgar! Let me explain why we called this person ignorant. We returned the car, and we were given nothing in writing to state that the car was returned in good order/no damage. When we asked if they could provide something the man said don’t worry, it's written here, and he showed me his phone. Another man asked him in Maltese why he just doesn’t write something on a paper and this man responded with “ don’t write anything, no one gets my signature on anything” What these men didn’t know is that we are Maltese so we understood what was said. Speaking in front of anyone in a different language is ignorant! It appears we aren’t the only ones that had issues with the extra charges! 60 euro for gas, 20 to return to a diff location, plus airport tax or whatever they want to call it. The staff at this company need to learn how to speak to people and calling them liars isn’t a good business practice. Let me also add that the company charged me another 35 Euro after we arrived home. I am currently disputing this charge with our credit card company and I will contact the Maltese Government to see about investigating this company further.

Booked my car rental through third party. The person emailing, was part owner and it was totally worded incorrectly and was so condescending. He took offence to my informing him that his staff were rude and ignorant. He stated that it’s not possible that two members of his staff were rude and that since the term ignorant was used we qualify as vulgar.! Let me explain why this person was ignorant. We returned the car and we were given nothing in writing to state that the car was returned in good order/no damage. Good Car Rental
We were satisfied with a car and service. We took an economic class car for quite adequate amount of money. Additionally, we choose an insurance with O excess. Deposit of EUR 150.00 has been reserved on bank card and returned back to account after 3 weeks. Besides, there is no problem to return the car in the night.

Adding tax twice, even though my contract said it was included.
Charging for a full tank, even though my contract said full to full.
Adding a drop off fee, even though it wasn't on my contract.
Doing poor math!
Not a great entry point for a holiday.

56% More Expensive That What It Looked When I Booked.
I booked a car with Aquarius from the airport in Malta for a long weekend trip because they were the cheapest. That was only on the site though because once you collect the car that's a different story. The contract is full of hidden fees, and I ended up paying 111€/Day instead of the 71€ that was on the site.
That's not all, you have to pay for a full tank of gasoline (regardless how much you will consume) however my tank was not even completely full ... TOTAL RIP OFF!
Last but not least, even though the car was only 22000kms, the seats were disgusting, and I'm not being fussy!

Please stay away from this company, they are set to rip off customers. They may seem cheap, but you will pay more trust me.

As we refused to pay double for the out of service hours and insurance they refused to rent the car and we ended renting from another company. Definitely do not recommend to use this company. They are ripping off their customers. They also charge over the top for fuel and blame their agents for not giving them money.

Do not go anywhere near this company they are a bunch of cow boys they site says noting about a deposit and I asked countless times via email and was told the deposit was 50 euro which I paid before going when I got to the airport with my wife and 5 year old I was told by the idiot delivering the car that I had to give him 1000 euro deposit they have the worst customer service you have ever seen just left us at the airport and said sorry our error we will give you your 50 euros back ,,,,,,, but I was stuck at the airport with no car. useless bunch of jokers NEVER USE get the bus and then get a better priced car near your hotel.

Cancel Your Cards Now Atlas Choice Bust
We Used Atlas Choice In Aug 2016 and paid £242.93 We then paid more charges when we got to Malta for 10 day rental to Aquarius in Sep 2016 (188 Euro)
3 MONTHS LATER In December I am advised Atlas choice have authorized more charges to my credit card (£245.50) to Aquarius. Legally this cannot be right.
My credit card is not there to bail the whole of Europe out!
Since Aquarius / Atlas Choice have the long 16 digit credit card no they can charge whatever they want / whenever they want.
I suspect I am not the only one.
Nice And Helpful Company
We rent a van for 5 days, the car worked perfectly (by far the best one I have rented here in Malta, and it is not the first one...). Everything was really clean, brand new van.
The pickup was also really easy, as they brought the car to the place where we were staying, and we also could delivered the car in the same place.
Staff really helpful and kind!!!
Very VERY RECOMMENDED!!!!
