We Booked A Car Through This Company For A 5week R
We booked a car through this company for a 5week rental from Stansted airport. We contacted booking group several times before the rental to let them know that we were going to arrive at 4 PM instead of 10 AM and had no response from them but we didn’t think anything about it. On arrival to pick up a car through Drivalia we were told there was no car as we had arrived late we informed Drivalia that we had told booking group about a later arrival, but they had no knowledge of it. The drivalia rep then informed us he would find us a car if we were prepared to pay the top insurance premium of £40 extra a day I pointed out to him and that was over £1000 in fees and we couldn’t afford that he said therefore there is no car for you so we were left stranded at Stanford airport . Just to double check I then went on the drivalia website and discovered there was at least six cars available to book at Stanford airport but he would not give us one unless we paid the £40 extra.
We contacted bookings group to tell them of our situation and up-to-date. They have done nothing about it, except to tell us that we arrived late.
Don’t Honor Their Own Refund/cancellation Policy
DO NOT use this car rental company. They do not adhere to their own refund policy. I cancelled my reservation due to bad weather 72 hours prior to my pick-up time, well within their stated 48-hour cancellation window. Despite this, I did not receive a full refund. Instead of a refund to my credit card, I was given a credit. Additionally, a cancellation fee was deducted from what I had paid, even though this fee was not mentioned in their refund policy. To make matters worse, if I wanted the remaining funds transferred back to my credit card, it would cost an additional 60 euros ($65.07). Essentially, you have to pay twice: once to cancel within the 48-hour window and again to have the money transferred back to your original payment method. Look for a company that honors their commitments and doesn’t charge hidden fees when you cancel according to their policy.

Misleading Information
AVOID!! Misleading information, the company send you details of mandatory documents to take, These are clear and big on the email they send, and when take them you are refused a car, because they have even more requirements that are mandatory but they hide them in the small print in a voucher that they only ask you to print.
REFUSED refund, so they and the hirer have kept the money and it seems many people are having same issue with both these companies.

This company may be the least expensive option but their cancellation policy and customer service is the worst of any rental company I have gone through. My flight to Nürnberger was cancelled the day prior to my pickup date and I called only to be met with a rude customer service representative who stated they could not give me a refund but I would be able to submit a request via email and rushed me off the phone while canceling the reservation. I paid in full and submitted my request for a refund with the email showing my cancelled flight. A week later I received an email stating how they could not issue a refund because them and the rental company incur a loss of operating expenses (though I cancelled 24 hours in advance). When I was able to get a new flight I tried to contact support again to see if I could reinstate my reservation within 30 minutes of the cancellation and was told they could not. I ended up reserving a car through Expedia, which was comparable in price and my experience was the easiest to work with. They also have free cancellation through your reservation time and do not require payment until you pickup the vehicle. I was able to cancel one car two hours before pickup due to missing my connecting flight in Paris. I was then able to schedule a new vehicle and pickup time along with child seat within minutes and it took a maximum of 10 minutes to pickup the vehicle once we arrived. The price was also comparable, only £30 more for the five-day reservation. NEVER go with Economy Booking, you get what you pay for I guess.
Failed To Provide Written Promise Of Refund
I received an email indicating I would receive my refund within 7 business days. It has now been 21 business days and still no refund received. My emails questioning the whereabouts of my refund have gone unanswered. Stay away from bookinggroup.com and economybookings.com. Nothing but sham artists.

Shuttle Only For Driver & Had To Pay Out-of-hours Fee Twice
Awful experience.
Booked rental car out of Lisbon. Our contract clearly indicated that we'd paid for a "shuttle" service from airport to the Brava cars office AND the "out of hours" fee.
The "shuttle" service was a small car that couldn't fit everyone, so we had to leave my family at the airport sitting on the side of the road for 45-60mins whilst I went to the Brave office, collected the car, and then returned to the airport to collect them.
Additionally I was made to pay a local "out of office" fee at the Brava Car office even though our contract clearly stated we'd already paid it.
DO NOT USE.
Arrived At Airport In Rhodes And No Car. Complaine
Arrived at airport in Rhodes and no car. Complained via email with a holding email about an investigation then absolutely nothing. Avoid at all costs, tell your family, friends, neighbours, the world, this kind of thing has to stop.

Do Not Book Using This Bookinggroup 3rd Party
This is a sham 3rd party agency. I booked via this BookingGroup but eventually didn't get a car from the rental car company that assigned. Both rental car company and BookingGroup are crooked, they just take the money and no responsible for anything. I paid full amount and full coverage insurance but when reach the airport to get a rental car they just refused the voucher. I lost all the money that I've paid and no refund. When tried to contact them, the phone# was fake, no one pick up the call. I've lost my time trying to get a rental car that I paid. DO NOT get involved this BookingGroup.com

Booking Group Did Not Deliver The Car And No Refund
Booking group economy booking rental accent asked me credit score check in Turkey where I am not living.
Due this reason they did not deliver the car and they said they are not making refund..
This company is not legal..

I Had No Car Upon Arrival
I booked and prepaid a car back in September for Cancun.
My flight was delayed, I had advised by phone about it.
When I got to their desk at the airport they said my car was given to someone else.
They could only offer me to book a more expensive car paying the WHOLE AMOUNT. They would not even offer me to pay the difference.
Nobody takes the responsibility… nor the car rental company, nor the intermediary, nor bookinggroup or economy booking.
