I wanted a car for two days, with delivery to my hotel. OLA responded immediately to my booking, at a very competitive rate.

The car was delivered to my hotel, the Honda model I had ordered, not "or similar".

Although the car had a high mileage and was obviously a second hand import from Japan, it was well maintained, clean and in good working order. It took us around the whole island without any problems.

The car was then collected from the hotel as arranged, with no damage recorded.

I would certainly use this company again.

This is a very customer oriented company. Salim is the friendliest car hire manager I have ever dealt with.

I received immediate responses to my e mails Even late at night.

The car was delivered to the hotel on time in a very clean condition. The paperwork was completed in 5 minutes and the return was even quicker.

Decent car, helpful and friendly staff

made our first ever experience of driving a rented car in an unknown a memorable one. Only drawback is that the GPS is not 100 percent reliable. Only if you get the no. Of km just hitting go then only rely in the GPS. OLA was helpful in providing a map for just such instances.

Was very disappointed with Salims service for Ola Car Rental.Firstly, he pitched up at the airport one hour late.The phone number on his confirmation is not fully correct,so we could not get hold of him.Then when we filled the form we realised that the Comprehensive insurance he advertises on his website is actually third party.Then, when we made the payment in Mauritian Rupees (took advantage that we were only women),he confused us with the buy/sell conversion from his quoted price in Euros to Rupees.He thus gained there.He also did not give us a full tank.Tank showed 3 bars in the fuel gauge.He then took us to the nearest petrol station and persuaded us to fill the whole tank.We drove all over the island for 5 days (with that 1 tank of petrol) and we realised that we would have to return the car with more petrol at the end of our trip...so he gained there petrolwise.On the 2nd day,the Garmin stopped working and we were lost .The garmin wouldnt charge.We phoned him and he said he could do nothing but exchange it at night at our hotel. He never pitched.We had trouble finding our way back as the map he provided us with was a hotel map with only main routes but no street names.

The only thing we were fine with was that the car was clean and in good working order.The body had few major scratches and dents but he admitted that it was thru wear& tear.In future, I would rather pay more and get a rental from a major international firm, for peace of mind.

I was in Mauritius for a week in Nov 2013. The overall experience working with OLA Car Rental and Salim was excellent. Firstly I had made a mistake in my dates; Salim called me up personally before the trip and over the phone and email, he worked with me professionally to get the mistake fixed; without any additional charges. Thanks Salim! When I reached Mauritius, Salim was there in person. Given that I was a single woman travelling alone, Salim went above and beyond to ensure that I knew where I was going, called my contact in Mauritius to get exact details, changes the GPS when he realized that it may not be the right one for me and made sure I was confident before I took off on my maiden car trip in Mauritius. Thanks! Similarly the return process for the car went very smoothly.

I and my wife were traveling to Mauritius for a vacation and we decided to rent a car during our stay. After researching all options we decided to go with a local company - OLA Mauritius and I must say it was one of the best decision we took. The car was in excellent condition and the car delivery and drop off experience was smooth and this was probably the most competitive option. The best part was that the company didn't charge for any add-ons such as additional driver, GPS, etc. To drive in Mauritius, GPS is a must and don't forget to yield for traffic to your right at the roundabouts.

PS: Remember to request Salim for a parking pass for Port Louis if you plan to drive there or else you will end up with a steep parking ticket.

Everything was good. Even in case of flat tyre the helped us immediately.

I rented an automatic car from OLA Mauritius via web and I am very satisfied with their service. The vehicle of my choice was delivered to my hotel at the desired time, the vehicle was in very good condition with a complimentary GPS.Their staff was very friendly and helpful. My whole rental experience with OLA Mauritius was excellent.

Compared to other rental companies in Mauritius they really have good rates and offer value for money both in terms of service and vehicle.
