Take Your Paperwork With You!

Our main issue was with the collection of the vehicle. We had booked a 12 seater which was to be dropped off at a different airport 2 weeks later. On arrival at New Orleans airport at 10pm we were told there were no 12 seaters available - the biggest they had was a 7 seater. We made do with this for the night and crammed everyone into this just so that we could get to the hotel for a well deserved night's sleep. The staff insisted that the vehicle was due to be returned to the same airport, fortunately we had the paperwork to show this was not the case. They seemed unable to correct this and said we would just have to show the paperwork when dropping it off at Orlando. The following day we spent a couple of hours on the phone trying to arrange a 12 seater to be dropped off (delays due to minimal staffing of Good Friday). They eventually brought us the correct vehicle late morning. By the end of the day some large plastic moulding from the front of the van had dropped off - which meant getting a third vehicle to replace this the following day, adding yet more delay to our already time critical holiday. After this everything went well and the vehicle served us well. However on returning the vehicle empty of fuel, the staff at Orlando had no knowledge of the "free initial tank of fuel" option we had gone for with US Rent a car and were ready to charge us for it. Again, I was able to show the paperwork which proved we had purchased it. All in all, a reasonable experience, but with delays, phone calls and hassle that we real could have done without at the beginning of the holiday.

Arrived at Sanford in September to find my paperwork was faulty (usrentacar fault)--took 2 hours to get a car loaned to me while it was sorted in the next few days.Took 3 days to sort after a lot of expensive phone calls and when I returned the car I was presented with a bill which usrent had agreed to pay but I managed to talk the hire company out of it-saving usrent quite a bit of money. On returning home well out of pocket I tried to get usrent to reimburse my expenses but to no avail.They do not even acknowledge my e mails.

5th time of using them so a good customer.

Be warned if your booking goes faulty.

Buyer Beware

I booked a car for my daughter, who is under 25, through US Rent A Car in June. After a number of conversations with the representative I chose to purchase the "young driver plus" option to include windscreen, tyre and undercarriage coverage. I was issued a policy by them from Chubb. On collecting the car at San Fransisco Airport, through Alamo, she was informed that they did not know what this additional policy was, had never seen this nor would they honour it. She purchased the same coverage, at a cost of $69.86, through Alamo since she did not want to be stranded on a California Highway, with no help. On her return, I contacted US Rent A Car. They refused to take any responsibility or refund either policy. I will NOT use them or recommend them to anyone. I was fully taken advantage of. Buyer beware!

Best Us Rental Car Company By Far

we have used usrentacar many time over the years. i find there customer service to be first class.

you can also pay a small deposit on making the booking where other companys want the full amount. and for £5 per week usrentacar gives you the piece of mind on the cancelation cover. great if the airline changes your flight time or you do have to cancel.

we have always had good cars and no pushy sales people on arrival. (usually book with alamo / and budget )

usrentacar do park tickets as well and we have found them to be the cheapest for the past 2 years.

Pricing Policy

I booked early in January for a hire car in July as on the site it said that by booking early you would normally get the best prices only to find that 4 days later the price had dropped by £30 . on contact with us rentacar I was informed that basically that was my bad luck and that if prices had risen i would not have been expected to pay the higher price , not really what i wanted to hear !

For Great Fully Insured Car Hire In The Usa Use These Guys

They were recommended by a Disney forum for offering great service at a fraction of the cost of going direct and although it looked too good to be true.,.. it was true.

Spoke to a gentleman over the phone who made the process really easy, he even added a note on our rental to request a Ford Mustang (which we got).

They also gave me discount of Universal tickets.

We collected from their Supplier Dollar Rent A Car, we only had to show them the usrentacar iPhone app to collect the vehicle. Service provided was excellent and we weren't required to purchase anything else, plus there was no excess...

Running out of things to write now... just all in all a good service from a good company, will defo use again.

Car Hire Usa Orlando

We used usrentacar.co.uk again this year for our trip to Orlando and again we were very pleased. Although we had a bit of a wait to collect the car from Alamo and the counter staff was a little pushy with the extras but we were firm and said we didnt need anything extra. The choice of car was great as we got to pick our own vehicle from the minivans that they had.The price we paid with usrentacar.co.uk was by far the best as we do tend to shop around a bit AND it included all the insurances. We are going back next year so we will be using them again.

I Hired Through Usrentcar December 2009 With No Pr

I hired through Usrentcar December 2009 with no problem (An Alamo car). I rented again in April, an Intermediate car with free upgrade to full size. The free upgrade did not happen due to lack of availability (was stated in the small print). the car I received from BUDGET was in poor condition and not even intermediate in size, more like a Compact! I therefore got a free DOWNGRADE! I was misled by the website, BEWARE!!!!!

Have Used Usrentacar.co.uk On Several Occasions An

Have used USRentacar.co.uk on several occasions and found them to be extremely competative. Can't fault the service and would recommend highly. Seem to have dropped a number of suppliers as could not get a Toyota in El Paso. Excellent overall and good 'Gold' deals.
