Disgusting Cars And Disgusting Customer Service!
Do not go to this company for hiring cars! We were charged €60 which was for the cheapest car they had and they charged us before we even looked at the car. We had one of the staff members drive us, what they said was 10 minutes away to get the car we were hiring for 2 people and it was actually 20 minutes away. To begin with the customer service was terrible when we entered to ask for a car with the manager being on the phone constantly and not really caring about selling us a car or being helpful. When we got into the car that took us to the car we were supposed to be hiring, the staff member was driving recklessly, overtaking every car on dangerous bends and driving over 150 on 100 speed limits, so we already felt really unsafe. We got there and the car was parked on a roadside opposite a rundown garage in the middle of nowhere. The staff member told us nothing about the car, how it works etc and just took rubbish out of the back seats and drove off. In the car, it was absolutely disgusting,there was used cigarettes in the back seats, ashes in the cup holders, dirty seats and seatbelts and the airbag light was on constantly and hardly any fuel in the tank to begin with. We were annoyed at the fact that we had been to other companies previously and paid the same amount for a day and had a much better, newer and cleaner car that actually functioned properly with nothing broken!!
We decided to drive back to the office and confronted the staff member that was present. He rang the manager and the manager said he was in Larnaca so he couldn’t come back to sort it out. We asked for a refund and he kept making excuses and saying the car isn’t his companies car and that we could pay another €10 for a better car but that was still poor quality! In the end he offered to give us back €30 so we never got a full refund! Absolutely disgusting customer service! Do not go here!!!!!
The Staff At Viking Car Hire In Ayia Napa Were Unf
The staff at Viking car hire in Ayia napa were unfriendly and pushy. They charged us for a full tank of fuel, but charge lots more than if you went to the nearest fuel station. We took the car back that we hired since the synchromesh on the 1st and 2nd gears had completely gone, making the selection of gears virtually impossible. The clutch was also on the way out, and the BRAKE PAD wear indicator light on the dash was permanently on. The car we hired would not pass a British M.O.T. test, and was unroadworthy. On taking the car back, they made out they were helping us by changing it, but this 'new deal' would also put us out of pocket, so we didn't change the car. We kept it and didn't use it. Waste of time. Other Brits were in their office on Nissie Avenue complaining about other things.
