Cairo, King Tut Hostel

Clean, friendly atmosphere. Excellent location! Downtown, just steps from Metro. Every room has Air-conditioning, t.v and private bathroom as well as WiFi.

I arrived in Cairo very early in the morning and I was extremely grateful for the airport pickup that the hostel arranged. The hostel is in a very good condition, great staff, very friendly and they organized a tour for me which was excellent, they are not pushy at all, very comfortable beds....the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, I stayed here 3 nights because I left on the tour and went back to spend a few other nights...I will definitely recommend this hostel if you visit.

This place was the best hostel we have ever stayed at. They were very organized and offer extremely competitive tour rates. The customer service was amazing. We booked a 2 night/3 day desert camping tour through them with roundtrip private van transportation from Cairo to Bahariya for 900 LE per person. The only down fall was the first night in Bahariya was spent at Ahmed Safari camp and the rooms, food, and atmosphere was VERY disappointing. But after telling our concerns to the manager at King Tut they did everything they could to help us out, giving us free transport to the airport. I will definitely be staying at King Tut when we visit Cairo again. The rooms were very clean, no bugs, rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy for light sleepers, but rooms in the back are fine.
