Cairo, Mena House Oberoi

The Mena House hotel was magnificent. It was truly like stepping back in time to a world of Egyptian treasures. The rooms were fabulous, the pool was lovely and dining in the restaurants, particularly the Indian restaurant, was a relaxing and a thoroughly enjoyable experience with attentive, yet unobtrusive staff ensuring that everything was perfect. On top of this, add the amazing view of the pyramids that awaits you first thing in the morning when you sit down to breakfast. Just perfect!
