Amazing!!

This hotel has the wow factor and the safari is absolutely amazing! The Keekorok is not gated so in the evening animals come into the garden, we were having a wine outside one evening while a few zebras grazed next to us. There were hippos one night from the watering hole. Staff are around in the evening in the gardens to make sure you are safe and escort you back to your room should animals be in the grounds that you don't feel happy to cross such as the hippos! It is a beautiful small boutique hotel and the staff are so lovely and can not do enough. I have never in my life stayed at the same hotel twice but this one I would definitely return to. I can not praise it enough.

The drinks are fairly expensive - not that much more than in the UK but worth considering. The food is lovely and a good choice. The Masai warriors that come in the hotel after dinner and dance are excellent, we were encouraged to join in and they let us have their . We had one of the staff from the Masai tribe give us a talk one night (just for my husband and I) about Masai culture, we paid him about £20 (our choice) and it was absolutely fascinating. I would recommend it.

Daniel and Nimoh are worth a special mention and our safari driver Francis for changing a flat tyre as the sun was setting and saving us when the battery of the jeep died next to a pride of lions by tying a rope to a mini bus that saw us. :-D We stayed at Diani Beach at the Baobab also before and after the safari which was also great. Overall, this was an absolutely fabulous adventure that has been the best holiday I have had yet. I will definitely be back to Kenya and the Masai Mara.

This Was Our Third Visit To Voyager Over 10

This was our third visit to Voyager over 10 years and perhaps the most important as we had chosen to take out friends and family and get married there. Everything was perfect. The majority of our friends are planning to go back for a second visit. The hotel and grounds etc are fantastic and the rooms have been recently refurbished. The food is very good (don't believe anyone who reports otherwise) and the staff are fantastic. A huge thank you must go to the staff who helped us plan the wedding. It was perfect in every way. Am happy to hear from anyone who wants advice / thoughts on a wedding out there. I can't begin tell you how amazing it was.

We went on Safari and stayed at Mara Bush Tops. Hugely luxurious. A must for the holiday of a lifetime.!! Be warned though- the Kenyan Government are looking to put up the park / reserve fees quite dramatically next year so Safari's will be much more expensive than they are currently.

We repeated a few of the excursions we had done on previous visits- the Mombasa trip and Wasnini Island are a must. I would advise anyone who wants a romantic evening to do Mombasa by night. We booked it out exclusivly for our safari and excursions (there were quite a few of us) and it was just awesome. We bought carvings from the beach and Akamba wood village alike. The beach guys are pretty okay if you are firm with them. There is also a fantastic carving shop on the way to the supermarket about 10 mins walk from the hotel. Yes, we are going back at some point,to do another safari with brunosafaris although things seems to have gone up but me and my partiner have actuary saved enough for that trip.
