Marhaba Hotel

This hotel is poor and not very good the only thing in this hotel that was oood was the service at the bar the waiter collected your glasses and asked if you would like another one same around the outside pool

I WOULD WARN YOU DONT WALK AROUND THE INSIDE POOL WITHOUT YOUR SHOES/SANDELS OR SOMETHING ON YOUR FEET THERE WAS RATS RUNNING AROUND THE INDOOR POOL THE STAFF SAY ITS OK WE FEED THEM POOL COLD AND IN ALL THE HOTEL NEED NEW OWNERS AND CLEAN IT UP THE MAID WAS GOOD SHE CHANGED THE SHEETS EVERY DAY CLEAN TOWELS AND A BOTTEL OF WATER EVERY DAY ITS JUST THE HOTEL IS POOR AND WOULD NOT RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE I WOULD NOT FEED MY DOG THE FOOD THEY SERVED UP SHE WOULD TURN HER NOSE UP AT IT IF YOU CAN PAY A LITTEL EXTRA YOU WOULD ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY MORE AND DONT FORGET THE ARAB DONT DRINK SO THE BEAR IS WEAK

It is a very good complex in Tunisia, and there is a lovely private beach. There are many gardens to walk around, and there are plenty of sun beds around the pool. The food at the Marhaba was good, but more variety of savory would be good. Also, more staff should be on at busy times.

Sousse Marhaba, Tunisia: The location was lovely set away from the main road in beautiful gardens with a lovely pool and right on the beach. The room was airy and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The indoor pool (25m) and gym were both good. The food was fine with a good variety but it would have been nicer if there'd been a lot more fruit available.

Sousse itself is pleasant and interesting to look round, the market stall holders can be very pushy but there are also some fixed price stores which are much more relaxing to wander round.

Marhaba:

Overall a great holiday and refreshing to go somewhere a bit different. The beach is on the doorstep so you can alternate between the pool and the beach. The weather was terrific, good waiter service throughout the hotel and poolside so you can relax and enjoy the sun or entertainment. We wandered around the surrounding area both during the day and the evening and would recommend others to do the same. Contrary to belief we didn't get hassled and in comparison with the local touts we encountered in Crete last year found the local people to be charming and respectful. This has been the first of many trips to Tunisia.
