Houria Palace Hotel

On arrival hotel looked good,then went downhill fast.

Positives 2 pool areas good clean.Hotel clean.

Hotel very basic,needs complete refurbishment worse hotel been in since late 60's.

Only 2 feature lift's for 3 persons more out of order than working.

Food was diabolical catered for Tunisians and Europeans not British,food was cold and sub standard, we had to call rep who the called director to hotel to address the problems the food became hot but still of a poor standard.

We also learned that this hotel was government run and Tunisians flock to these hotels and take over, could not get near dinning room at night,and tables were taken and names removed.The hotel seemed not to be all open only I bar rest closed as for spirits only vodka,beer and wine.Not the same standard as other hotels we have been in Tunisia.

People had money stolen from their rooms and they had a safe.

The reception staff were very rude when asked anything.

Did not feel safe in hotel.This hotel should not be offered by any companies for British people

Should have been made aware this hotel was government run.

Had to eat out most of the time.
