Favourite Place To Stay.

We have stayed in this hotel twice now and find it a brilliant spot for our holiday. Could do with a good update, but, as we don't spend that much time in the room it is very adequate. Food is good and drinks are a reasonable price. The hill is steep though you do get used to it over the two weeks, staff are very friendly and helpful. Will probably be booking to go this year. Love Pefki, it's a hidden gem .

Our Holiday 6/13

we had two fantastic weeks back in june 2013, have just booked for next year and we are counting the days, the rooms are very basic but have all you need, the staff are very pleasant and very helpful. the pool is the best feature, cold at first but so refreshing after you have acclimatised, we go in june as we don't have children and was pleasantly surprised to find there wasn't any here. we walked in to pefkos most night and some of the restaurants are absolutely lovely, we had greek, chinese and good old fish and chips from a proper English chippie. the two beaches we visited were spotless and well maintained, the meals were cheap and very well presented. our only regret is, we never found the finas peacock, we heard him/her every day and even went in search of it, sad I know ha ha. on the whole a fantastic holiday in a fantastic place, well worth the time and effort, price was excellent too x

Never , Ever Again!

This is by no means a 3* hotel. At best, 1* and that is being generous. Filthy, dirty room, toilet bin full upon arrival, floor not swept or washed, no towels,

stained bedding and wires fully exposed on walls.

Food in the restaurant is inedible. Raw potato in Moussaka, stone cold in the middle. 100 euros for air conditioning (2 weeks), to keep the room on from noon till 10 pm was 47.50! The going rate across Rhodes is 25 euros!! (an owner of a hotel and restaurant told us this). Don't expect to relax by the pool. most loungers are broken and the covers are filthy with stains. The rep was dismissive once she had got your money from you. Tells you that you are better of booking trips, car hire etc.. through Olympic! DON'T DO THAT, all the local companies offer the same deals at half the price. Flights were dreadful on a terrible airline(Small Planet). Delayed, no apology, no water, rude cabin crew with very limited English. Broken seats and very dirty. I think I've covered what has to be one of our worst experiences of travel ever.

Finas Hotel

Rooms are dirty, pool is dirty, cleaners only change beds dont clean floors, cant cook in rooms because its too dirty, fridge had mould on it, ants coming in, had to move room. at least 2 guests had items taken from there rooms, hotel staff offered no help for the guests to report stolen items they had to get taxi to police station.Air con costs 47 euro a week also have to pay 70 euro for safe a week.

Finas Hotel, Pefkos Rhodes (excellent As Ever!!!)

Just returned from another fantastic holiday to Pefkos in Rhodes.

Stayed in the Finas again, and as ever the staff made the holiday fantastic for us all!!! They looked after our every need, and made the stay all the more better. Aris (the manager) made us some bespoke meals not on the menu just for our party, and even made the best lamb ever!

Rachael and the rest of the crew are excellent too. Its just the best place for a great holiday and the best of times. Such friendly people throughout, and value for money, your pound goes just a little further now!

As for Pefkos itself, its an excellent resort, lots of choice to eat and drink, the beach is great. Recommend taking a boat out from Pete at the main beach! Come try the Finas one and all :-)

Finas Hotel + Pool Pefkos, Rhodes

Just arrived home after spending two fantastic weeks in Pefkos at the Finas Hotel / Apartments. We booked with Olympic and I have to admit I cannot fault this holiday at all. As with most holidays we book, we always do a little bit of checking first. We were not disappointed. The Finas Hotel is set is a great location, with a good size pool and bar onsite. Very near the hotel is a supermarket that has everything your could require for a stay there, drinks very resonable. Almost all of our two weeks was spent at the hotel by the pool, were the staff were friendly and helpful, they always spoke and said hello and asked how we are this morning? Pefkos is a small resort and unlike many other larger places in greece we have travelled to. After a day or two we soon found our feet and ate in a different tiverna every day, and there are also plenty of bars for a cool relaxing drink or two. We found the beach excellent, if a little hot in July. Perfect scenery and the water was perfect. Overall Pefkos in Rhodes is a place we shall hopefully visit again, I would have no hesitation to recommend this fantastic greek resort / holiday to friends and family. Well done Olympic and thank for a great holiday.

After Reading Some Of The Bad Reviews For Finas Ho

After reading some of the bad reviews for Finas Hotel, pefkos. I sympathise with those that found it like this but I would say that this is very rare and that most would have a great time here. We booked last minute getting a fab deal just £580 for all four of us 1 week self c booked 2 wk before going. Just got back last night and wanted to review it to say what a fab time we had after spending the whole week at the hotel. It was so hot- got near 40 one day, so we didn't venture too far with our 6 yr old. That didn't matter cos the poo facilites, playground and pool tables etc were enough to keep the kids entertained all day. The apartments are set in beautiful surroundings most / all? balconies have great views over the bay. It is basic but we found it clean enough and had new towels every day plus a kettle in room and equipment etc all fine. You couldn't cook a big meal on the hobs but was fine to do pasta dishes etc light meals which is all you really want on holiday?! The bar is cheap enough and the food fantastic, chicken a la creme is perfect!! a meal for 4 with bottle of wine each for us and 2 rounds drinks for kids about 40 euros! Lunch for us plus drinks 16-20 euros. Little supermarket attached very handy, 6 x 1.5 ltr water for just 2 euros, we went thru stacks of this! Pool has inflatables to play with and friendly atmosphere, free sunbeds to use, straw parasols for shade etc just perfect day there. bbq and kareoke fri & mon was good fun, staff get involved and its a real family atmosphere, Dave is great he really looks after you all day then joins in at night. Campbell behind the bar is so lively and fun, we found all the staff to be really nice people. The air con 45 euros for the week is a must! it's so hot even at night we had it on all the time so it's a bargain if you think of it like that. depends how you look at it I suppose. The nights we spent on the balcony when kids were in bed were so relaxing, beautiful night views, fireworks in distance on most nights, we could hear the music etc at the bar but it wasn't too loud or would have woken the kids so was nice just to hear it in background whilst we sat and chilled in the warm night. The hotel is well managed so guests were all happy and generally friendly, not rowdy or anything which we worried might happen. For ourselves and everyone we spoke to it was a great place to stay and we would definitely go there again!

Checking-in To Finas Hotel And Studios At 05:30 St

Checking-in to Finas Hotel and Studios at 05:30 steps staircases and inclines were not lit.

Instructions of "you go up there and you go up there, and we will get back to you" were given to group of guests as means of guiding them to their respective room locations.

On arrival at our room, my first reaction was to leave immediately, if it were not for the time of day. We couldn't even use the toilet facilities as there wasn't toilet tissue In the bathroom.

The room was absolutely filthy, with "remnants" of the previous occupiers; most of the limited array of crockery and utensils were dirty, there was a repugnant odour coming from the one and only cupboard, it was quite clear the room had not been inspected or cleaned properly, if at all. Also the accommodation facilities are totally unfit for any guests wishing to prepare any sort of meal

Bring these issues to the attention of the hotel "staff" and the Olympic Representative; I was bewildered by the complete lack of concern, attention or willingness to attend to or improve the situation for me as a paying guest in the hotel, with a pathetic response of "all the rooms are the same, and, "some guest do take things from the hotel" "maybe your expectations are too high".

On my further inspection of the accommodation, my complaints were completely justified. That is to say, all of the crockery needed to be washed, the cooker/washing unit is in a state of disrepair, the refrigerator needed to be thoroughly cleaned before we would put anything inside, when we did use this, it was only to keep water, juices and soft drinks cool, the door, seal and fitment were absolutely disgusting. Again the refrigerator door and seals was in a poor state of disrepair.

All of the accommodation doors and frames were in poor condition with the doors opening on to the balcony not fitting or locking correctly, both the bathroom and entrance door frames are rotten.

The smoke detector would never have operated, as this was dangling from the ceiling and it was apparent a battery was not fitted.

The facilities around the pool area are totally unacceptable creating very serious health and safety issues, with the drain gratings collapsing into the gulley, lose, broken and eroded tiles all around the pool edge.

The outside bar area, flooded, with guests wading in over 2" of water, the reception area flooded too with rain water oozing into the location through a badly or none sealed feature window, the extent of the rain water eventually included the stairwell and toilet facilities.

In this outside area there is a drain gulley that following the flooding, was still full of stagnant water, this service obviously isn't maintained or it would have drained way, it is also quite apparent that the floor area is never cleaned, with grime and "debris" all over the paved floor we never once saw this area cleaned during the whole two weeks of our stay.

We have visited Greece, Rhodes in particular, many times before and are quite aware of some of the basic facilities; however, never have we had to endure conditions like this and all the previous hotels we have stayed at have always been clean and presentable.

Basket case

We have just come back ( 9 days early ) from that Excuse of a hotel and i couldn't agree more with your comments, the Hotel and its English staff are a complete joke. The entire complex is an accident waiting to happen !

I've Now Been To Finas Hotel Three Times And I Hav

I've now been to Finas Hotel three times and I have to say I never gets tired of it there, the people are great, top service, foods amazing and very clean and I cant wait to find out whether I am back again next year. Pefkos is a gorgeous greek village with exquisite views out across the ocean and right up to the mountain tops. It has a ovely sandy beaches with lovely clear water. The Local people are very friendly and will try and help you when ever they can I really cant fault this village. If you have a mind for exploration there are footpaths beaches and mountains to explore as well as local taxis and bus routes to get you around the island but not forgetting the scuba teams that come around to some hotels and give you a little taster of what life is like under the sea. Love it. Definitely going back.
