Kolbe Hotel

Kolbe hotel is a jem of a place and is a tranquil oasis in this busy city, sound proofed rooms not really necessary as the road outside is not a busy road. A modern hotel with a fantastic garden where you can take breafast and this a wondeful way to start the day, the room was fantastic the people in the hotel were very friendly. The location is right next to the Forum and this and the Coloseum can be walked in 10/15 minutes and the walk gives excellent views over the Forum and Coloseum as you go. Other attractions like the Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps and the Piazza Navara can be easily walked taking around thiry minutes to get to the furthest the Piazza Navara. The Vatican is also walkable in around 40 minutes or do what we did take one of the tour buses and walk back. All in all this hotel is located in the ideal place for exploring Rome both on foot or by the many tour buses.
