Borinquen Apartments

We stayed at a private apartment in Borinquen. It was fantastic. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Had all mod cons including washing machine, free wifi, free car parking, ceiling fans and fantastic seaviews!!

Ideal for couples. Pool never too crowded and always plenty of sunbeds. Close to all amenities, yet very quiet.

Be back in September 2008 and again 2009. Love the pool as always sunbeds and warm water. Staff are very friendly and rooms are clean. For what you pay it's a very good quality place to stay if you like a bit of peace and holiday without the reps and screaming kids.

Overall the Borinquen Apartments are basic apartments good for young couples.

Central but not noisy, very clean and friendly. Quiet pool area not too busy. Kitchen could be doing with a few more essential eg. microwave. Gate locked at back of hotel which gave good access to bus station. We enjoyed our stay so much we are going back in May. Cant wait to visit Legends again.

Overall it staying at the Borinquen Apartments made a great holiday well worth the money would definitely come back!

I travelled to the Borinquen Apartments in Playa De Las Americas in October 2006 with my partner. We are both in our mid thirties. I was a little apprehensive at first about apartments, e.g. was there going to be young lads drinking and partying to the small hours? Were the rooms going to be clean etc? But I had no need to worry!

The rooms were fine, apart from the lack of air conditioning and cooking facilities, but as this is a 2 star complex, it boils down to "you get what you pay for". The pool was a good size, well kept and always clean. There were toilets close by, and a bar for refreshments. Although the bar doesn't open until 12:30pm.

I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone thinking of taking kids and looking for entertainment for them via the complex, as it's non-existent. However, there's loads to do round about, and if your plan is to use Borinquen as a base just to sleep, there should be no problems. It is good value for money, and ideal for couples who just want a break.

All in all, I found the complex to satisfy 90% of my holiday needs, and I would have no hesitation in going back.

The apartments were central to all amenities. Beds were changed 3 times in the week, and towels 4 times. The rooms were cleaned and bins emptied 6 days out of 7. Lovely pool and friendly staff. Borinquen Apartments in Playa De las Americas were fully booked. I was very surprised how quiet it was. I would recommend it for couples and families. Very spacious apartments.

It was my first time to Tenerife, and I can't wait to go back.
