Valencia, Puerto de Sagunto

I have been to Puerto de Sagunto many times and I never get bored. The beach is beautiful (gets cleaned every night) and there is always plenty of room to place your towel.

The weather is brilliant and not unbearably hot, though it is best to not book the entire holiday in August.

I highly recommend bar Canavas which is a small restaurant situated in the town with a homemade feel and excellent food. I also recommend Carina Mariachi, the only Mexican restaurant in town that serves delicious food at a good price.

For nights out, I recommend Bar Junco which specialises in Agua de Valencia (Orange juice, Champagne and Bacardi) and Club Kangaroo, an outdoor club with amazing atmosphere (starts getting busy middle/late July).
