Club Hotel Flora

Stayed at the hotel 13th till 20th Sept 2010

The staff are friendly the pool is nice, that's if your lucky enough to get a sun bed. A 56 room hotel with approx 50 sun beds don't cut, with towels being placed on them as early as 2.00am there is nothing left by 7.30.

The food is not good and very repetitive, they will use the day before food on next meal. The hot food is not hot. I only ate the soup with bread all week and went out to restaurants at night, the Windy Bay was good.

The management gets first and preferential meals. Their 2 dogs are allowed to have free range of the hotel and there is cats all over the place.

The rooms were very basic although cleaned regularly.

The write up for this hotel is very misleading on facilities etc. as they weren't there.

There are a lot worse places to stay in Gumbet but I'm just being honest

If you can book this hotel on the cheap then do it but don't expect 4 star as I would rate it only 2 at a push.

we were changed to the Club Hotel Flora 2 days before we were due to fly out we were told it was going to be exactly the same as what we had booked ALL INCLUSIVE 4/5 star it wasn,t There was no choice at all my wife never liked a few of the dishes and was not offered anything else ,EVEN WHEN WE ASKED FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT No menu up to say what was in the salds ,food cold always had to get it heated up,

Club Hotel Flora is great... It's 3 stars and believe me that people in the hotel are so gentle that you will feel like in hotel of 5 stars. Rooms are very nice. They keep it all very clean. They clean rooms every day, and change the towels the same every day. The food was great. The pool is very clean, and there's a cute old man cleaning the pool every morning. The beach is very near, maybe 50m. from hotel... All people who work in the hotel are very friendly. If you want relax and stay on holiday without pressure this hotel is a very good choice. I think that I will go again next year... for sure...
