Avoid If You Don't Want To Ruin Your Hajj
We had a very bad experience with Ahmed Tours. We went to Hajj with these guys in 2019 (this year). They promised that we will get 4 star hotels in Mecca and Medina. However, the hotel we got was the worst I have ever stayed in my life.
The hotel was not just dirty but also it had a major hygiene and health and safety issues. The food during our Mecca stay was really bad, the food in Medina was relatively better.
The management is rude, unprofessional and not ready to listen to any complain. When I tried speaking to one man he got really annoyed. I am sure many other would have faced the same issues.
We are also making a formal complaint against Ahmed tours to Hajj Ministry, ABTA and others. We just want to ensure no other Haji has the same experience as us.
I wouldn't give even 1 star to these guys

Worst Company For Hajj

This Ahmed group have 6-8 sub companies with different names i.e Al Haram, Al Harmain etc.
Hajj is compulsory once in the life but don't ruin it with this group or with it's sub companies.
Me and my family came back on 25-08-2018 when we meant to come back on 27th due to these people book our flights 2 days early.
In 2 weeks package we went from Stansted Airport in PEAGUSES airline the worst airline I've seen in my life, you have to pay for everything even for water.
Stansted to Istanbul
Istanbul to Dubai
Dubai to Makkah
Makkah to Madina
total approximately 30-36 hours journey to cover direct 7 hours distance.
So wasted 2 days in travel.
Reached to Madina double bedroom was converted in to 4 beds there was no space to walk in the room food was freezing cold every single day, the food was worst then a basic food. After 3 days we had to leave for Makkah so we got told to be ready straight Jumma, their time management was so poor. They was always late 4-5 hours from the time they give us, means you can't do anything just wait for them and waste your time.
Went to Makkah after seeing hotel we was shocked it was there own hotel which I would rate as (-0) star no room service again it was 4 of us in 1 tiny room whenever anyone goes to toilet that door hits my feet due to bed size was too small, air condition was worst then having a Fan and was too noisy. Again food was freezing cold. To be honest I would not give that food to any of pets.
Then we went to Mina/Arafat etc the tent over there was from HAJJ ministry I would say they was 1000 time better then Ahmed Tours hotels, food in them places was same thing every single day, when we question Ahmed Travel they said it's from ministry nothing to do with them, but when we did our own inquiry we found out Ahmed Travel took cheapest package from ministry that's why we are getting this type of food.
When we move back to hotel there was 3-4 different dishes cooked but freezing cold hardly anyone had MEAL on that day. When we complaint they said it's getting better, tomorrow you will have good food but funny thing was they warmed up same food for next 2 days for us to eat.
We meant to come back on 27th but our tickets was booked for 25th on 24th they said today's meal is not included in package so everyone have to buy their own which we was doing on daily basis anyway.
We got told to be ready by 11 pm on 24th and they came around 230 am now another thing apparently bus can't come to hotel so we have to walk to Taxi stand with our luggage and from there we will go on bus which was not the case, there was no bus anywhere so we had go to ministry office on taxi to get passport, we was waiting there for 2-3 hours and went in the bus from there, after few miles we had to change bus with our luggage to go to airport.
In whole journey from London to back to London they stopped only once for prayer, they made us qaza all of our namaz.
There is lots to tell I might be able to write a book on this.

Every bit of this review is true. Honestly I’m still traumatised from my experience with them.
Salaam, I totally recognise this review and it's accurate because I and my wife were on the same package as this brother. They told us to have sabr and this was certainly required to deal with their disorganisation and the resultant waiting, waiting and more waiting for them to get their act together. They try to blame it all in the Saudis but it's not the Saudis -i it's them. They are clueless about customer service and have no empathy for hujjaj who are so thrilled to be at the holy sites looking to maximise their Ibadah.
I could not believe the ridiculous flight schedule we had to take but I do think it was a calculated tactic to bring us in a day late and save a hotel night. Likewise the trip was cut short to save a couple of nights. It is very sad to see brothers capitalising on their fellow Muslims' trip of a lifetime for bottom line profit with no consideration to duty of care to their customers or any consideration to enabling them to have a spiritual and fulfilling experience due to the anger and resentment they regularly caused us all.
I believe the accommodation was a health and safety risk and the food may have caused food poisoning (a number of co-travellers are now very sick).
A British company has minimum standards to adhere to but the proprietors of this company has no inclination to meet its duties and will cut corners at every opportunity. THEY DONT CARE about us and this leaves a really bad taste in the mouth.
DO NOT TRAVEL WITH AHMED TOURS!!!
