Makeney Hall Hotel, Makeney, Belper

Stunning Derbyshire stately home setting with dining in a huge orangery surrounded by lush landscaped gardens. I took my husband there for his birthday on a Sunday lunch. The food was a delight to eyes, well presented and almost too good to eat. The portions were perfect and the the courses well balanced. We had the set menu and it was absolutely delightful. A perfectly spent £25 yet the food looked and tasted a whole lot more expensive! Would definitely recommend this place.
