Avoid

Mazuma have had my phone for a week. I have had absolutely no contact from them, no reply to multiple messages, and it's impossible to get through to them by phone.

Considering their promises to "pay in 24 hours", their actual performance is comical.

Avoid at all costs.

Offer Reduction

I sent an immaculate phone to mazuma and like so many they come back to say it has scratches on the case which is astounding as the phone has always been kept in a case with the back never exposed and of course they are reducing their offer by £35 with no proof from them despite asking for photos. I have photos and unless I've gone blind I can see no scratches. Maybe a trip to Specsavers and then to the police.

Terrible Company

I sent off my iPhone 14 Pro to mazuma. The phone was pristine as it had always been in a protective case with a screen protector.

I received an email saying that due to multiple scratches they were lowering their offer by £90. I had taken photos before I sent the phone off which clearly shows that there are no marks or scratches.

Disgusting way to run a company, avoid at all costs!!

Appalling Company. Stay Clear.

Absolute shambles of a company. Offered me £575 for my iPhone 14 Promax to then try and give me £200 today claiming the screen needs replaced and there's other damage. Funny that as it didn't have these issues when it was sent to you. Don't bother with Mazuma, please sell privately via eBay, Facebook or on other selling pages as Mazuma will drive down the price to capitalise leaving the customer frustrated and without their device until they decide to return it "within 3-5 working days". If you want the pleasure of it being insured too you have to pay THEM £7.50 to return it special post. Waste of time, waste of effort. Stay clear.

Took Over A Month The Whole Process Of Sending My

Took over a month the whole process of sending my phone. Lack of communication, just to be told they’ve lost my parcel therefore I am missing out on money although I was assured a week or so before it was not lost just “misplaced” - awfully convenient and I’ve seen this happen to multiple other people. Beware of this company

Insulting Offer

I recently tried to sell to these a hone to these awful people a phone that I purchased in the UK from Mobiles direct. it is an iPhone XS which the Mazumba opening offer said was £75. Whilst I knew i would be offered less, they claimed it was non UK model. It is not. They offered a pathetic £25 and when I phoned said I had raised my voice, which again is not correct . I would not recommend anyone bothering with them as they are just dishonest and rude.

Appalling Company

Mazuma Mobile.

They offer a great price online then when they receive your phone they contact you to say there is damage and offer a lower price. My phone has been protected since day one, there was not a single scratch on it.

They take photographs when they review the phone but can’t send these to you for two days. I suspect this is so they have time to find a similar damaged phone to try to pass off as yours.

They then take all protection off your phone so if you don’t want to be ripped off and accept their joke of a lower offer, they will send it back unprotected in standard delivery so that your phone is likely to be returned damaged. They leave you no choice but to accept the lower offer.

Then when you ask to be referred to their complaints team, they send a generic email and can’t even be bothered to send the referral themselves.

Save yourself the trouble and go with a more reputable company.

Please, Do Not Use This Joke Of A Company!!!

Whatever you do, please not use this company! Trust all of the 1* reviews with people complaining about the exact same thing. Never in all my years of dealing with a company have I come across such a company.

Over the years I have sold mobiles with various companies and I have never experienced a problem. That all ended when I unfortunately decided to give Mazuma Mobile a go. I sent my iPhone 13 to them which was in great condition only to be told that the phone apparently had significant scratches on the screen (which apparently required a full screen replacement) and dents to the housing, both of which was complete and utter rubbish.

Subsequently my offer of £270 was dropped to £115!! Looking on their website this is what Mazuma Mobile deem to be a faulty phone. However, I have picture after picture confirming the phone was in great condition.

This company clearly prays on individuals who have no choice but to accept a significantly reduced and derisory offer out of desperation. Luckily I was not in that position so requested my phone was immediately sent back (which I also had to pay £7.50 for the pleasure of special delivery). Unfortunately though there will be others who have no choice but to accept the vastly reduced offers they put forward.

It's funny though because once I received my phone back, I immediately sent it to a company I have used before and got the exact amount quoted on their website ????

I really wish I had listened to the negative reviews on here and everywhere else. I should have stuck with my gut instinct. It would have saved me a lot of time and hassle.

Mazuma Mobile you are a joke of a company and you should be ashamed of the way you make your money.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DON'T BE SWAYED BY THE PROSPECT OF A SLIGHTLY INCREASED OFFER AS UNFORTUNATELY IT WILL NEVER MATERIALISE.

Avoid At All Costs

I was hesitant to send my iPhone to this company, so took copious amounts of photos & video footage with a covering letter stating that l had done so as proof of my phones condition.

I sent it in the original box with unused charger & side key, only to receive an email stating that my phone had numerous scratches & offered less than half the quoted price.

I immediately asked for my phones return only to be told that they cannot return it with the original box or other items which were included.

The company keep quoting that l agreed to their terms & conditions stating that they dispose of anything other than the phone therefore the original box, charger & key have been disposed of upon receipt.

Having taken legal advice l now understand that Consumer Contract regulations would deem these unfair & l can challenge them in the small claims court which l am planning to do.

They also offered less than half the online price quoted several scratches. I took copious amounts of photos & video footage which l plan to use in court. Also, why dispose of an original box when some phones are returned? It does not make sense at all, other than to devalue a phone even further!

Bad Service

The lady I spoke to was blunt and spoke on top of me . I was upset but never rude and told her I sent a phone that was inmaculate . No scratches . Brand new. They said that there was at least 5 scratches on it which a complete lie . The phone never left casing and the font always had a glass protection. When I sent it it was perfect. Now they are sending me my iPhone 13 full of scratches and of course they will always be right. I am the lied and I will be returned a phone that has scratches . I wish I never sent it . I feel so stupid .
