I have used this company a few times in the past and had mixed results. However I decided to use them again to sell my phone, 1 because I already knew them, and 2 because they offered me the highest amount for my phone. After receiving my phone and offering me a drastically lower valuation as they deemed my phone to be scratched, I decided to try to argue the case as I had photographic evidence of my phone before postage in like new condition. HOWEVER this is where the fun really begins! I received literally no response to my enquiries via email or to their call centre for a total of 20days! 10 of those days I was also without payment for my phone as my offer was 'automatically accepted'. Thats 10 days with my phone gone, no payment for it, and no-one at the other end. It took a direct letter to their head office with a weeks ultimatum threatening contact to trading standards and the financial ombudsmen for me to get my money, and an emailed response (not even an apology). I have replied to that email to again try to argue about the 'damage', and guess what, I've had no reply back! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Go for a trusted company, even if they offer a lower amount for your phone as you will at least be dealing with a reputable company that you can trust to deal with.

If I could give no stars I would. This company service is awful and their aftercare is even worse. The email thread between MobileCashMate and myself is more like a bickering friend. They should really try improve on their customer service. I accidentally left the pass-code on my device so I confirmed the pass-code and still they advised this denied entry but would not send video evidence of this. Upon return this will be my pass-code as it is my code for everything and I had to pay £5 to return the device. They only respond to emails and their phone lines are open 10am-4pm, which if you work 9 - 5 is not very helpful. Regardless of that fact you cannot get through to them anyway. They do not have a queuing system so if someone is on the phone you just the the busy tone which overall really dampens the service they offer without even speaking to them. I called them at 10.03am and got the busy tone and the same for the following days throughtout different times of the day. They are very unhelpful and will not call you even if you ask (I did ask a handful of times), they also said emailing is fine so its like they dont want to answer the phone anyway. I wish I had read these reviews as I previously have dealt with Mazuma Mobile and Envirophone and never had any issues and they are polite and helpful.

Knocked £30 off offered price for non existent scratches on an almost new phone. Very misleading and from reviews they knock money off their "offered price" every time.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I sent them my iPhone 6S as they offered the best price I could find (£160) for the phone in perfect condition - which it was. When I eventually heard back from them, they said that the Sim tray was missing (which it was NOT when I sent it to them) and therefore they could only offer £16.81! I asked for the phone back and - surprise, surprise - when it arrived - no Sim Tray. I bought another Sim tray off Amazon for £1.97, put it in the phone and took it into Carphone Warehouse where they gave me a very good price for it. Lesson learned!

This company offered £416 for my iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB which is in pristine condition without any mark. After recing the phone they claimed there were scratches and offered only £350. I asked them to return the phone and have checked the phone which is almost like new. The phone had a protective case for the screen and the body from new. Please don’t trust this company and send your phone.

Their initial quote for my phone was £147 and then I was offered £23 because of a 'blemish'. What a waste of time. I later sold the phone locally for £130.

Got offed £189 once they had phone got a email came to say that the phone had this wrong and that wrong with it . It was in mint condition apart for a scratch on the back witch you could not see. They the offered me £17.95 . Stay clear of them
