I accessed a generous quote (£138) from UR on an old iphone. So I sent it to UR. They then emailed me saying:

"The screen has visible marks. It has deep scratches in more than one place. As a result we have amended our Valuation to £55.00 that reflects the cost to carry out the work on your old device so it can be given another life."

This isn't true. The phone is in excellent condition. So, using their online service, I rejected the offer and requested they return the phone. They then revised their offer to £75. I rejected it and requested the phone's return again. Ever since, I've emailed twice and heard nothing back. I've tried calling them today: no answer.

I'm very worried now that UR:

a) has disappeared - taking the phone with them

b) will underhandedly try to circumvent my requests by, for example, saying they've returned the phone (when they haven't) or - if they're particularly underhand - gouge deep scratches in the screen, then return it to me (thus fitting with the false assessment they provided).

Took a long time for them to assess and get back to me and then they offered less than half the price for the phone I’ve accepted because lord knows how long it will take for them to return it to me.Never ever experienced this with other companies I’ve dealt with over the years.

My presented phone to trade was immaculate in every way, screen- immaculate, body including corners - immaculate, phone worked perfectly in every way with no damage whatsoever.

However UR decided to reduce their offer by £80 as tgey claimed my battery was at 86% and it needs a replacement battery at 85%, but it was above their limit !!

Ridiculous and shall not be using again, just avoid, they offer high price just to use every trick to lower their offer.

Extremely disappointed and totally dissatisfied !!

Sent phones in. Miraculously became damaged once they recieved them, despite having used their packaging that they sent me. Which they accused me of having done prior to packaging and transport, despite me having pictures that shows otherwise, as rhe date and time will show I took the pictures as I packaged and then proof of postage shows was taken atraight to the post office. Eventually spoke to the manager after the management contact time was not met, after having rude staff contact me, and had no resolution at all. Manager now suddenly states they won't be buying phones and will return by post, despite originally being made unacceptable offers from them. Awaiting senior management contact to escalate the complaint and will be speaking with trading standards and filing for small claims court as all evidence shows they have damaged my property before purchase agreed, to not pay what they should be paying and in the process causing undue stress. I now have two broken phones, that I could have sold else where for more money as they werent damaged before, don't take the easy option, it's hell! Disgraceful!

If I could give them minus stars I would!!!! Never trust them I sent an immaculate phone to them with box and all accessorys they recon it's damaged and offered me 100 less or return phone without box and accessories apsalute theifes, don't even send you an email to let you know you have to ring them and chase it up, apsalute appalling customer service don't trust them in the slightest

Recived phone back today without a mark on it so they were trying to rip me off for £100 appalling company who won't answer the phone to you I'd rather bin my phone than them make money from me

I would give less than 1 star if I could.

They had my phone and sent me an abysmal revised offer. They claimed that there was damage to the screen before they opened the box. The phone was sent in near perfect condition, had always been kept in a case. I even sent photo's of the phone to them to prove this, but they dismissed it. They tell you that insure your device for £100 against loss or damage in transit. Yet, when I asked about claiming for the damage they could not provide any insurance details, and told me that they did not take any photographs of the packaging when it arrived so any claim would be rejected. How convenient?

Please beware of this company. The director has dissolved several companies of a similar nature over the past few years. Check out their companies house profile and make your own mind up.

Sadly this company is typical of this type of ‘we buy any product’ offer a high price to hook you in them appear to make up product ‘defects’ to drop the offer price. Relying on people not being bothered to cancel or make a fuss. Never deal with them again but will always use Mazuma who give you quoted price with no question.

Sent a 2 year old phone from them as they were offering best price. They knocked £25 off for a tiny scratch that is barely visible. I wrote and said the phone is sold as second hand not new, but they wouldn't budge. They clearly plan on never giving you the value advertised. Accepted offer 3 weeks ago -still not paid. No replies to emails or web chat, and phone number disconnects. Please avoid!

Used their site to request a free postage pack to sell my phone - Order Number: 10010). Pack arrived a few days letter and I sent my phone to them. Checked the next day 03/09/22 and it was confirmed on royal mails website that it had been received and signed for.

Emailed on the 05/09 for an update and although website says response will be no later than 24hours. I didn't hear back, so decided to send another email on 07/09 for an update. However, 24 hours have now passed and I still haven't had a response to either email.

Not a good sign at all, starting to get the impression that this company is not legit and have taken my phone. Have used other compared in the past and have never experienced anything like this before.

Will be raising a complaint to Companies House in the coming days if I do not get a response.

I posted off special delivery. I got a text on Monday

to say it had been received and payment would follow.

I didn't hear any more.

I emailed on Wednesday and got a response Thursday

to say the money was credited to my bank account.

I would have given 5* review if I had a text to say

that payment had been made (payment will follow could

mean in a week or two).
