Poor Treatment From A Copany I Have Been With Since 1999

I am now cut off from Onetel - the reason being, I did not update my credit card details after it had been cloned, not unusual as many things had to be changed. OneTel never questioned this, even when in Jan 2015 I queried an errant £4 charge which they said they would refund as it was their mistake (but only did in July 2015 at which time I had figured out that the card was wrong and updated the info and paid the outstanding bill caused by the card details) But now it seems that they have thrown me out for being behind with the payment, nothing said about them being behind with the refund! Now it's looking like my father-in=law is having the same problem (86 year old) I do think that Onetel is getting rid of old customers at the first chance they can get. Since Talk Talk took over the service has gone to the dogs. I have complained and threatened to take the matter to Ofcom. The complaint has gone to OneTel's CEO's for review as their complaints procedure details but I'm not holding my breath. I had a bad experience with Talk Talk when I ordered a business internet and phone line, it took three weeks to get it installed and many broken appointments - shoddy!

I'm also facing the same problem I ordered a phone I used WhatsApp.

Ok here is the story I ordered an A10 that costs R1600 2 days after I've made the payments the guy started to ignore me ohk I kept texting ... after a week he apologized and said the courier man got hijacked he said I should add R500 to get an A30 because A10 are out of stock ohk I added it. He said Monday morning I'll receive my parcel ok Monday morning I texted him he's ignoring me again damn the whole week he ignored me he den came back to me on Sunday and said flip he was off on duty I'll receive it Monday or latest Tuesday morning​ ok I waited Monday morning he ignored me again until Tuesday afternoon he said I'll receive it before the sun falls until today I haven't received my parcel and he's ignoring me

Please help

Hopeless

Apparently the fact that my Onetel SIM has now failed to work in three different handsets from two different manufacturers means I'm just unlucky and keep buying faulty hardware. I'll be moving as soon as is practicable.

Appalling Customer Service

I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you are signed up with Vidafone and you get a call to 'upgrade' or add lines/iPad to your contract DON''T! Especially if Onetel are involved. They really don't care about you as a customer and are the least helpful customer service team I have come across, I'm leaving Vodafone because of Onetel.

Exceptionally Unhelpful Customer Services

Tried to explain that we had moved house............. and that we had cancelled the service but they still kept billing me and to add salt to the wound added Late Charges, Non Direct Debit Admin Charges and Advance Landline Rental! Almost impossible to get through to on the phone and when you do all they do is say they are sorry but have no way of resolving the problem, sorry is easy to say but wears thin when you KNOW as you have heared it so mant times on so many occasions, ask to speak to Manager......... they don't seem to have ANY available at ANYTIME. Steer well clear.

Worst Ever Service!

I wanted to cancel my service. The number to call to do this was wrong, I was transferred God knows how. many times to assistants in as many countries who spoke English in a many accents. It took nearly an hour on the phone to achieve my cancellation. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Closing Account With Onetel

On 25 Feb rang Onetel for PAC Code Ok to there. At beginning March switch to new provider successful and Onetel SIM switched off. Now 3 months later I am still being billed even though have spoken to them at length having moved from one department to another until circle completed and e-mailed them with absolutely no response. good job I cancelled my DD. Their Customer Service is non existent as far as I am concerned. now going through formal complaint procedures including Ombudsman.

Well I Do Not Think That Onetel Are Collecting Cus

well i do not think that onetel are collecting customers anymore. what i will say about them that 2mb is not enough even for the casual browser. i cannot count the number of times anything took to load and i was paying over the odds till i spoke to them about what i should have been paying. nor has a move from onetel been smooth , you may have a bt line but they have charge of it and ofcourse they would like you to go with talk talk who will eventually migrate onetel customers into their brand and give better speeds of broadband. the bottom line is that the competition has moved on and onetel are a dinosaur.

I Came To Onetel When Telco4u Ended. Onetel Chase

I came to Onetel when Telco4u ended. Onetel chased me for bills I had already paid, unable to sort out the problem for several months. Their server goes down regularly stopping in and outgoing Emails. That continues while a new game develops with billing. I opt for online billing to save £1.45 and get a welcome letter and an online bill only to be followed next month by a letter saying an Email to me had 'bounced' evidently because they the wrong Eaddress. I am charged for a bill by post which they will not refund. This has been repeated seven, yes seven times with a break sometimes before starting over again. As I am moving soon, out goes Onetel. They are utterly incompetent and get no stars from me.

Onetel Phone Service After 11 Years Of Being

ONETEL PHONE SERVICE

After 11 years of being a onetel customer I finally closed my account today after being charged for phone calls I did not make. It wasn't so much the amount of money I was charged but more the attitude of the staff to investigate the situation and give me - a loyal customer the benefit of the doubt. They claim to have a fool proof system to determine if calls were made from a line but these calls were made from my mobile which means that my mobile phone account would be compromised and my mobile phone bills are normal with no unusual numbers. It could either be one of two things; 1) someone hacked into my mobile and assumed I had a onetel account and wanted to ensure my bills were still kept low so they decided to use my account to make cheap calls?? or 2) my onetel account was hacked in to, which they vehemently deny. I was reluctant to believe there could be no breach from their side especially as there was an automated message on their line stating that there is an error with the bill amounts which jumped my £12.59 bill up to £80.99! Onetel has the most unhelpful staff I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. They are great when there are no issues with your account but you see their true colours when you have a problem with them. BE AWARE!!
