Such A Poor Performer
It just has such poor suction and to make it worse suction falls off faster than water over Niagara. Batteries don't last, recharging takes ages and cleaning the filters takes 24 hours, which you need to do a lot in an attempt to get it to pick anything up.
The attachments are so hard to change/remove my wife cannot do it. So now I'm the vacuum repair man constantly taking it apart to clean or fighting with its attachments. Its just so bad I can only say avoid this cleaner.
Looks Good But Performance And Reliability Poor!
As advertised on television I opted fro the more powerful version as thye price seemed very keen! Firstly, the vacuum needs to be on boost power to have any degree of acceptable suction but this, in turn, means far less vacuuming before requiring recharge!
The only thing that really vacuums well is the extension with the powered brush head! However, the machine is not even close to 1 year old and I am now on the third brush head! The machine comes with a two year warranty but who wants to keep seeking replacement parts and what after two years?
The first head, the motor was fine but a plastic cog basically disintegrated. The second head the motor was producing less power meaning that the brush would not turn when in contact with a short pile carpet.
This machine is regularly cleaned, no debris or hair is allowed to collect which might cause stoppages or power problems!
I will keep seeking replacement parts whilst under warranty but this is a pain as I have to go on line and chat with Vax to go through the same questions and answers to convince the agent that it is not dirt or the belt that has gone.
I will sling once out of warranty and spend the extra on a Dyson cordless!
