Vax Dual Power Pro Carpet Cleaner W85-PP-T

I bought this Vax Dual Power Pro W85-PP-T 6 months ago and have cleaned my whole house about five times since getting it. I have two dogs which like to play outside very often and I live in a very muddy area of the UK making vacuuming insufficient to clean the floor thoroughly so I decided to purchase a carpet washer.

Around my city, there are several places to rent carpet cleaners and I have tried all of them (Including the Rug Doctor, Bissell Cleanview, Numatic Carpet Cleaners as well as many more) but all of them have flaws such as slow drying time, dark spots of uncleaned area, weak or no handheld tools and a very small tank capacity.

I decided to buy the Vax Dual Power Pro due to the great reviews, high cleaning performance and a large selection of handheld tools as well as many other reasons listed in my overview below.

Variety of Hand Held Tools - Comes with an accessory bag containing the hose, an upholstery cleaning nozzle and a hand-held spinscrub tool to allow agitation to remove stubborn stains as well as a hard floor squeegee

Dual Tanks - The separate clean and dirty water tanks allow the user to empty and refill the tanks with ease

Long Cord - The 8m cord allows whole house cleaning without the need to plug and unplug

Robust Build Quality – The machine is very durable allowing knocking against furniture and walls to not cause damage

Stair Cleaning Hose - The 2.5 meter hose reaches up my stairs with ease

Easy Machine Cleaning - The spinscrub heads, brushbar as well as the rest of the machine come apart easily to allow machine cleaning without a struggle

Hard Floor Squeegee – Included is the hard floor squeegee which allows cleaning on hard floors

Stylish Look - The machine has a sleek and modern look allowing it to be stored and hardly noticed

Negatives

Weight – The machine may be hard for some people to carry as it is 8.7kg

Sound – The machine is reasonably loud but this shouldn’t be a problem as it won’t be used for long due to the superior cleaning quality

Overall, I give this machine a rating of 10/10 and would recommend this to anyone with a medium-large size house due to the large machine size. If you were to buy this product, I would recommend buying a large bottle of solution in case you use more than you are supplied with on your first use.
