Vax Mach Zen C91-MZ-B

This is my second vax and I Have to say second mistake!!!

I have this vacuum for 2 years and most of the tools needed replacement by now.

So without warranty this will cost a fortune!Hose is very week,brushes are useless without cleaning every 3-4 uses!Container is very difficult to clean and easy to brake!Suction is good if You can keep Your house straight but because is twisting quiet easily is difficult to use!And it is advertised as quiet but is not!!!Wouldn't recommend this to anybody!For that price You can get bosh or miele which are much better build!

I've had my Vax Mach 2 Zen for just over two years. It currently has not functional problems and seems just as powerful (vacuuming a two bedroom flat once a week).

The issue is with the attachments and connections. Unlike my old Dyson, there are no 'locks' on the tube or pipes. The connection is just a push-fit and I have had the handle just come off during operation. The same applies to the small attachments. It would be nice if the tubes locked together (maybe they do on a newer version).

The actual machine is a bit annoying to carry too, as the handle is angled at the back, rather than the top, which would seem more natural/logical.

Overall though, I am not dissatisfied with it. If I were to buy a vacuum again though, it would be a Dyson, just for the build quality.

It has two plus points but they are massively outweighed by the negatives. It is quiet and has good suction but this cleaner is heavy, cumbersome, awkward to move around and difficult to use.

The floor tool is very difficult to move forwards and backwards across a carpet (with no 'glide') and falls off unless you ram it on and if you do that you need the strength of Hercules to get it back off.

It is useless for cleaning stairs as the hose is way too short and the cleaner is too heavy to be lugging up and down stairs. The storage of the various little tools is useless and the clip to hold the floor tool and hose in place for storage is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. The body of the cleaner is extremely bulky, difficult to pick up and carry and you also need a huge space to accommodate the cleaner.

Look elsewhere. This cleaner is badly designed, bulky and difficult to use and you'll regret paying out your hard earned cash for such a sub-standard product.

This is a superb vacuum cleaner, so silent, effective and easy to pull along. It gobbles up pet hair from two dogs to leave the rooms fresh and clean. The telescopic tube does not appear quite as robust as that on a Dyson, but time will tell. Certainly, it is quieter and lighter than my old Dyson. I have become a "convert" to Vax technology!

Recent purchase think the product is excellent, I need a sturdy hoover!

An absolutly Brilliant Vacuum, with an amazing suction. Extremely easy to unblock when you've sucked up something you shouldn't have!.

Ive tried and broken most Vacuums on the market and I think this one may even out last me!. I honestly can't find a thing I don't like about the Zen all in all its deserves a 10/10.

Think of a hoover that is easy to use, light enough for you to carry up stairs and then look no further. The Vax Mach Zen is the best hoover for you, and me!

I tested this hoover at night when I could not sleep, and it was quieter than fish. My other half sleeps awkwardly and I was hovering downstairs and it was so quiet he did not wake up, and yes I would normally get shouted at when using the Miele hoover.

This has to be the best hoover made, move over Dyson we have a winner. You can hoover the stairs without lifting the hoover - saves you money.

Compared with my Miele hoover it is a breeze. My miele is a chunky oversized and tends to give out air from the top which makes it loud and a pain when the dog is around. The Vax mach zen is very quiet the dog wants to play with the hoover especially the extending hose, because it is so quiet. It is so ergonomically designed my dear old gran could use it. The best aspect is how quiet it is and the ease of emptying because it is bagless.

In conclusion the Vax Mach Zen is better than Dyson, and Miele put together.

Pros: Living in a "dust sensitive" home, I have found the Vax Mach Zen C91-MZ a fantastic vacuum cleaner. The fact that it has a clear bowl to catch the dust and not a bag is a must in my household. The suction is excellent, it picks up everything - pet fur, dust, stomped on food. This machine moves around the house very easily and smoothly. A must for any household. The fact that this vacuum is very quiet, is a great help when you have children a sleeping.

Cons: After just 2 weeks of use the Machine refused to come on, but after ringing the customers services at vax they has within days picked up the machine and are going to fix or replace the unit.

this is a really great vacuum. this machine is very powerful and extremely easy to move around the home. It has the added advantage of being very quiet. This machine easily goes onto all floor types and it has a large capacity dust container which is also very easy to empty. This machine can also be easily stored away. Im not used to using a cylinder vacuum but must say that i find this model easy to use. This vax model also comes with a six year guarantee which really speaks for itself. Vax obviously have a great deal of respect with this product and obviously trust that this product is built to last. Vax has again came up with a really great affordable product
