So I have credit karma which helps you keep an eye on your credit score, and one day I checked it it went down by 13 points baffled and upon further investigation I found that a jd Williams account has been opened on my name not by me, and not only that nearly £300 was on it so I rang them to get this sorted as its identity heist, still getting letters from them about missed payment also I’ve rang twice and told it will get escalated and should hear some thing in 48, and not heard a thing back, this company lets random people open an account in your name order stuff and send to their house all at your expense, why don’t they grow some brain cells between then and think to them self’s, if it’s a new account the first item should be sent to the house who’s name it is in and that would stop a good majority of this incident and hassle muppits! 

Do not use JD Williams. They are modern day highway robbers and take advantage of vulnerable people. They refuse to get into the 21st century and arrange payments according to salary dates. They then charge fees and expect 2 payments a month because they insist statements are 28 days and not every month which means they expect already vulnerable people to pay 2 payments in one month. Even when you ring a hundred times to explain they will not do anything and tell you someone will ring you back and they never do. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

n August I ordered a set of five OPI nail varnishes described as 'Pink set' but the description did also state colours may vary. As they also sold other sets labelled similarly e.g. purple set etc. I went ahead and ordered thinking that the colours would vary according to the description. When I finally received them the box was damaged but the product inside was undamaged and unused. However there were 3 pink, a red and a brown shade. I contacted the company who told me to return them, which I did and my account was credited. I then received an email 3 weeks later which was titled 'unauthorised return'. The tone of the email was incredibly rude and accusatory. It stated that I had used the product and was therefore not accepted as a return. I have since replied to this email and advised that this was not the case. They then sent me a picture of the nail varnishes, one of which has nail varnish on the lid. I have since noticed that the the colour on the lid does not match any of the nail varnishes in the box!! Unfortunately it is my word against theirs but I categorically did not open or use them. The customer service from this particular member of staff was awful. This was my first order with them and there will not be another. Lesson learned, I will now be taking pictures of any items I return to other companies. STEER CLEAR!

Four days after I ordered a Seasalt dress, they sent email to inform me that they are out of stock. No refund! They should have let me know earlier. Not impressed and definitely would not recommend. They do not seem to know what they are doing!

I rang them about money that was taken that was not refunded, they told me I should ask my bank!_ as if I have nothing else to do!

I definitely do not recommend them. I will not use them ever again.

I purchased a TV at a reasonable price only to find they have taken the payment from my account twice, leaving me overdrawn. I contact them and they blame my bank. My bank (correctly) say ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! I contact them again and they admit it was them (they lied to me then) and they're sorry but thanks for letting them know! Having none of this i argue the point (for an HOUR) & they offer £10 and 15% off clothing??? I buy a TV and they offer cheaper clothes, what? So come back and spend more money with us after giving you utterly dreadful service. JD Williams, you are officially one of the worst. AVOID

AVOID this company at all costs. They allow anyone to open accounts in your name but with a strange address, without doing the proper ID and address checks.

And then wrongfully add info to your credit file affecting your credit score!!!

They then refuse to accept responsibility for their actions, refuse to admit they were at fault and refuse to uphold the complaint lodged with them. My credit score has been seriously affected because of their incompetence and shady business running. There are hundreds of similar complaints across the Web and on social media.

This company needs to be investigated for their misconduct and lack of due diligence!

brought 2 light units came flat packed with lots of parts (you have to assemble yourself) this is not mentioned in there add, there are no electrical part at all not even a bulb, took a while to make a jig to hold center ring up so as to fit the parts and extra cost for the fittings and wire ( again not mentioned it the add)

be very careful when buying as it is not as it seems

BEWARE you will be charged interest and a non payment charge even if items are returned and there is no payment due!!! You are expected to make a minimum payment even though you have returned goods! Ridiculous - never come across this before. Would not recommend using and customer services waste of time.

After my parcel went missing (Hermes) I messaged JD on the Monday to be told it would be with me imminently so I waited till Wednesday where I rang them to be given a 100% guarantee it would be with me the Friday. Which obviously it wasn’t so messaged them again to be told to give them yet another 48hrs to look into it. Today I get an email telling me they are going to have to refund me but as a gesture of good will I can have the delivery cost back too. GESTURE OF GOOD WILL like normally they charge people for not being able to get there stuff delivered to them

I unfortunately decided to order from them ,and have had nothing but trouble ever since ,they were unable to cancel an order which went to wrong address and they are trying to charge me for it they have put my credit rating down even though I owe them nothing ..talking to their customer service is like talking to a brick wall and they lie! ...please do not get involved with them.
