Returned Items 8 Weeks Ago And Still No Credit On Account !!

Awful, 25th January I returned items to the store and have the receipt. I've had to phone Next 3 times to get the items credited to my account, as of today, 15th March, one item still hasn't been credited. Would never use this company again !!

What's Happened To Next?

Ordered 5 items of 'in stock' menswear from the website. They took 11 days to arrive!!! So much for next day delivery. Email responses from customer services take around 4 days!

Was promised an 'investigation' into the delay of order...needless to say I heard nothing! They simply don't care.

I have returned the order and closed my account.

Will not be shopping at Next again. There are far more reliable retailers to do business with who also have far superior customer services.

Absolute Rubbish

I went to order a pair of boots they gave me credit of £150 five weeks later they suspend my account based on credit reference company ,what a load of rubbish why did you give credit in the first place I was happy to pay for the boots straight away idiots

Absolutely Incredulous

My experience with this company has been atrocious.

Firstly, I was unable to place an order online, it asked me to try again which I did. This failed so I called them to place the order over the phone and explain what had happened. Despite all the reassurances of the customer services representative the order went through twice. Not only that but I was charged twice too. So £300 off my credit card and now I want to return the items. Arranging the courier was impossible. On at least 4 occasions they went to the billing address rather than the delivery address. And the remaining 6 occasions they just didn't show up. Finally it turned out that the courier in the area had broken his handheld device and was working from a printed bit of paper. I have waited home for two full days for these couriers as they are unable to even specific morning or evening. Finally NEXT sent parcel force. So far on my account only 3 items are showing as returned. Parcel force didn't give me any proof of collection so I have no idea if I'll ever get my money back. To add insult to injury they even charge for collections which is unheard of with big companies these days. Especially considering the inconvenience of having to wait home all day for a courier.

Please proceed with caution when using this company. Much safer to just go to the store.

Horrendous Waste Of Time!

I honestly don't think I've ever had so much hassle over a pair of shoes! Ordered them to be delivered to my local store. So far so good. Needed to return them as one shoe faulty. Told by customer services on phone to return to store where new pair would be waiting. They were not there waiting so the store contacted next directory customer services who say they are ordered and will be delivered to my home. This didn't happen, so both customer services people failed to place the order. They said they have refunded the money. No sign of this in my account. No shoes, no money and a LOT of wasted time. Don't bother with next online or by phone!!!!

I'm Fuming With Next - Absolute " Merde "service

I added a few items to basket to show my partner when she got home . But next decided to process this order and give me credit that I didn't want . They also sent all the wrong sizes . I rang customer services which took forever and the woman said they had no record of my details . I can't believe they send the items without even asking or telling you that it will be on credit . I'm livid . They have sent me 3 arrears letters and I have now since paid but am taking this up with trading standards . Next are absolutely out of order doing this and as a result I'm a house if Fraser shopper now .

I Think Help Is Required!

The issue is not with the product but with the service of the Next Directory team/management. I was kept on hold for 10mins only to find that I had then missed the slot for next day delivery (this is not the first time this has happened)I'm not sure whether I'm expecting to much, but surely at 9.50pm in the evening the lines would be on the slightly lighter side! Somebody needs to look at this urgent, I can't be the only long term customer who is having these problems at the moment!

Misleading Online Credit Application!!!

I just registered online and ordered a sweater to be delivered to a local Next store. The website says you can pay on collection, which is what I wanted to do. I was then shocked to find out that I had been given £1500.00 of credit and charged for the sweater, which was now being delivered to my home address!!! None of which I asked for!

Next said that on ticking the terms and conditions box I agreed to the credit facility and that a first order had to be sent to my home address!

This is a totally corrupt and misleading online credit facility . I've asked Next to cancel it immediately and that I will not take delivery of the parcel. Next are blatently abusing customers by doing this and I won't be shopping with them again.

Great Service

After reading the other reviews here I wonder if they used the same company i did. The catalogue is still a must in our house (even if it does mainly get read in the toilet). Ordering stuff - as you would hope from a shop - is a breeze and given that you can return it to any NEXT shop (my closest one is only a home store and they still take everything) I can't see how it could be better. OK, the prices are always what you would hope them to be, but Next are a great British retailer and we should be rightly proud of them!
