Don't Bother

Don't bother ordering anything here as chances are you will probably never see them!

I've had not one, but TWO parcels failed to be delivered as Hermes apparently did not have the correct delivery information. Either this is a glitch on their system, Vertbaudet's system or the parcels are going 'missing'.

I have been waiting over two weeks now for my baby's winter coat and shoes for my son. It's a shame as their clothes and products are good quality. The refund process is also stupidly slow.

Clearly the bosses at Vertbaudet do not care that their delivery service is a complete shambles!!

I have wasted enough time, energy and money with this company and will never order from them again. AVOID VERTBAUDET AND HERMES.

Extremely Disappointed And Upset

I placed an order for matching nursery items for number etc and matching wall stickers and arranged for them to be delivered to my local parcel shop. The first parcel was sent out very fast and I collected one item 2 days later. According to my order history however this item has still not even been sent. I was not asked to sign for anything at the Parcel shop when collecting my order.

Two weeks later I was still receiving texts from the delivery company telling me to collect my item or it will be returned. I was still awaiting the wall stickers and so I went to the parcel shop to collect them. I was advised there was no parcel for me. I therefore emailed Vertbaudet and a few days later I had a telephone call to advise that my order was at the parcel shop and that I had to collect it that day otherwise it would be returned. I'm heavily pregnant and was very ill that day however still went the parcel shop.

Surprise surprise it was not there. I call the customer services Who advised me that I would have to wait until the following week to speak to somebody in the parcel shop department. They would have re-ordered the item but it was out of stock and has now been removed from the website. I have painted the nursery to match the colour scheme exactly. This morning I received an email advising me that the delivery company have lost the order on the way to the parcel shop despite me being told last week that it was there and I had to collect it.

There are so many inconsistencies with their version of events and details seem to change every time I speak to them. Having now looked at other reviews in starting to question whether they ever had the item at all.

Very disappointed with them and will not be using again.

Nice Clothes Bad Customer Service And Delivery

Ordering from them has been a nightmare from start to finish. Firstly the don't confirm your order by email, waited ages for delivery to a shop but it never arrived and no one bothered to tell me until I called still waiting for my refund 3 weeks later as parcel not returned to them yet. Tried to re order but out of stock, re ordered something else and that was cancelled but they failed to notify me. Tried to re order but they wanted me to pay more than the original price us they still had my money from my first order that never arrived! Customer service is bad staff are rude and unhelpful. Called just before closing one day snd you could tell they just wanted to end the call to get out of there!! Will not put you through to a manager so you can actually sort out your problem. Very angry I want my refund and communication as to what is going on with it!!

Free Gifts Offered To Lure You In

I am really disappointed I placed an order with vertbaudet as they were offering a free jungle design tent, when my order was received they had swooped it for a cat box? So I emailed customer services and they told me that as the tent was out of stock and no further deliveries were due they replaced the item. I understand it's a free gift and I don't mean to be ungrateful however I feel the purpose of them offering it was to get us to order (and it worked) and then they didn't deliver worse still they didn't even let me know. Anyway like a fool as I really wanted the tent my oh said he would order us a gift again the tent was showing in stock 4 days later and again they have substitutided it for the cat box no contact again! It's not a very good way to treat your customers to advertise something and not amend your website if it's oos or ignore them and not advise that you are unable to deliver. I think the best thing is just to return everything to them why deal with a company that doesn't care about its customers. I may sound petty to some I know but still stand that the free gift is used to lure us in so is just as important.

Never Again!!!!

Well where do I start, first of all they gave my delivery like a month later with half the things I ordered missing and then I checked the sizes are a lot smaller than you think, I ordered 9-12 months for my LO and it looked like it was a newborn size waste of money and was really upset because really wanted to put the clothes on for a party never will I ever order for here again.

P.s SAVE YOURSELVES FRIM GETTING UPSET

Happy With Service - First Time Customer

Hi, I'm not one for writing reviews but having just received my first order and then reading the reviews (so typically me!!) I was shocked to see so many bad ones so I thought I would give them a positive one as I have been happy with my order so far. Like many others I was bombarded with coupons and booklets with free gift and money off codes. Ordered 4-5 bits to test the products but glad I measured baby first as he is a big boy 21 lb and only just 6mths! With his measurements I needed to order a 12 month size which only just fits him so be ware of this. Quality of goods is very good, pleased with them. Order took just under 2 weeks to be delivered and all products ordered present. Initially, I struggled too with the discount vouchers disappearing so had to process my final order twice. Just make sure you double check the prices before you proceed to the confirmation page.

All in all I will use them again, love the individuality of the clothes and nursery items, love the free train gift, would have happily bought this if it hadn't been a freebie, my little boy loves it!!

Never Order With Them!

Terrible experience to order with vertbaudet.

Website was terrible, could not order using one email address. Was told to use someone's email address to order.... Now they don't want to 'discuss the order with me' as I am not the email account holder!

Order 5 items 7 weeks ago, after 3 weeks of no delivery, I was told when contacting them, that 1 item was missing. After now 7 weeks and several calls (expensive) I have been told that my order was lost and the money will be refunded! That took over a week between this message and the money to be credited on my account.

It then costed me to have this terrible experience with them as no compensation for the calls to customer services.

Customer services rude, unhelpful most of the time and inconsistent information. Oh, and impossible to log a complain!!

Never to use again!

Not Worth The Time Or Effort

I tried to order after getting a random catalogue through the post. £15 off first order and a free changing bag seemed like a good deal and having never heard of Vertbaudet before, let alone read the pitiful reviews, I decided to give it a go. Entered details, discounts appeared but when I created an account, discounts disappeared showing no changing bag and full price order. I called them, went through the whole process again, just at the point of giving card details after specifying I did not want a credit account, I was cut off! Really cannot be bothered going through the whole process again having already wasted about 45 minutes on it, however after reading some of the reviews suggesting they set up credit accounts without permission, I called back to confirm that I had no orders pending or showing and no credit account set up.

Pretty much the same thats just happened to me this weekend. False offer codes and full of rubbish when you ring them, which isnt cheap from a mobile to get absolutely nowhere. After reading all these thought im kinda glad i didnt get to place my order because it sounds like i probably wouldnt have got it anyway.

No thanks. As stated, not worth it. Especially after reading the horrendous reviews about terrible delivery times, damaged and poor quality goods. I'm not willing to risk it. Will be sticking with Mothercare and Mamas and Papas

Terrible! Stay Away From Them!

I'm so furious about these guys! They sent me an email with a promotion "Get 2nd item 50% off" so I went ahead and ordered a regular price item for €12.99 and then a sleep sac for the original price of €37 which was reduced to half price in my shopping cart. Plus €5.90 shipping costs. The real deal was the sleep sac of course and I was willing to get a different item and pay shipping basically to just receive the sleep sac.

Well when I received my package the sleep sac was missing, only the other regular priced item was shipped. I have NEVER received any email regarding this matter, and when I ordered the sleep sac it definitely indicated it was in stock! They didn't charge me for the sleep sac but now I ended up paying $28 (conversion to Canadian dollars) for 1 pair of pants!!! Ridiculous. In fact I get the feeling they promote not in stock items on purpose to make money with regular priced items and then just cancel the orders for the items which would have been the actual good deal for their customers. VERY shabby!

Not to mention their customer service is useless and their English is not professional at all. Stay away from ordering with them and you save yourself some headaches!
