Dreadful Dreadful Dreadful
Pre-odered 2 copies of FC25 for my sons. One for switch, one for PS5. Two bonus codes arrived on time plus one game for PS5. No switch games. Checked my account - no record of either order! Tried contacting them and they are simply ignoring me. Utterly terrible. I have a pre- order for empire of ants for release in Nov- who knows when that will arrive if ever? Totally lost all confifebce - despite living in a house of 'gamers', I will not be using game again.

Appalling Customer Service From Game Uk
I have always bought my games from GAME UK. However, will no longer be using them moving forward!
I pre-ordered Black Ops 6 on July 1, 2024 for the price advertised on their website. All was well until I received an email from them a month later saying that my order was cancelled without any explanation! I checked my online GAME account and there was no pending orders showing and I still can't see my order history for all the games I've purchased through them! I then tried to contact their customer services. There is no phone number available first of all! They also make it extremely difficult to get in touch with their online chat. Every option I selected directed me to their FAQs! I had to then select the 'Product Information' option to get me connected to online chat! The agent assured me that my order was still in their system and that the order cancellation email was sent out due to a system error! With regards to my order not appearing under My Orders on their website, he said that it will be rectified!
After a few days, I then receive another email from their customer services stating the order has been cancelled "as per my request". I replied back and said I never asked them to cancel the order to which they replied back saying the order was cancelled due to low stock. How can you run out of stock a month before a game's release date!!?
The reason I am frustrated and annoyed is because on multiple occasions they provided me with conflicting and incorrect information regarding the status of my order. I asked for compensation for wasting my time by providing me with incorrect information so many times and also for the time it will take to pre order from another company! My request was completely ignored by them!
Also, they are still taking pre-orders for BO6 on their website even though they do not have stock! Go figure!
Message to GAME - Please do not ask me to get in touch with your customer services team because they were of no help! Get in touch with me if you want it dicuss providing compensation for messing me about and I'll then consider shopping with you again!

A pre-order for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 - Gold Edition is just stuck with the status - 'In Process' and I have tried to contact them via live chat and phone.
During the last 3 days, I've been trying to speak to someone on the live chat which keeps kicking me out, saying: 'We are busier than usual'(not a live chat at all!).
By phone, I eventually, after much searching, managed to get a number for their HQ. When I called, the automated service told me: 'We are now closed, please call back during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm' - It was 11 am on Tuesday!!!
Eventually, I raised a ticket, and guess what, NO response! This is the worst online experience I have ever had and the first-ever negative trust pilot review I have given.
In today's online retailing world, employing bots to cover basic support is one thing but when that's your only line of support for customers, there is something very wrong. It's just not good enough!
UPDATE 19.09.2024: 6 days since logging a ticket and I still haven't had a response and still no order delivered. The product is still being advertised on the GAME website, so I imagine they are still taking people's money - this cannot be legal

DO NOT BUY FROM GAME. Shocking customer service and no phone line to have a conversation with anyone.
On 2 occasions i had to send back items form my sons PS5 that were under manufacturers warranty.
One was a controller and that took over 1 month to get back and the other was a PS5 and after maybe 30 emails and another month, i ended up with a refund which i now cannot buy another console with as its no longer on offer.
No complaints line or service you just get a different customer service person each time so have to go over the story all over again as they don't read threads.
They first tried to refund me £70 less than I paid for it. I still don't have the refund so have no idea what i am being sent. steer clear

Dreadful Service Wouldnt Recommend Them To Anyone
was supplied by Game online with a faulty PS5, no customer servicve number just a webchat and email helpline. They insisited I had to upload a video to demonstrate problem before arranging to collect the item. Collected by DPD as arranged by Game on 27 December and promised exchange /refund within 14 days of collection its now 22 January and still no refund. No communications from Game unless I chase them, excuse after excuse current one is that it will be 14 days plus 42 to 72 hours from the date Game warehouse update their system and they cannot confirm return recieved until they issue a refund... I have paid by paypal and intend to lodge a claim and if this fails go through small claims court. I wish I had not bought of them as onlin reviews from other people post christmas 2023 are awful.

Still Waiting For Refund After 4 Months
I have been trying to replace a console,now switched to a refund. Nothing yet,4 months of having to remember them about my issue. Still waiting. Shameful, i am now filing a serious complaint against them. Please buy your electronics somewhere else. Useless customer service: after two months the console was rerurned and approved for replacement/refund I asked for a manager or a senior to handle it, since I was incredibly patient for months. Sold A Faulty Game And Won't Replace
Absolut disgrace of a company, got bought an xbox seriesx game for Xmas by my mother, it doesn't work in mine or a friend's xbox seriesx... contacted them as soon as was aware of them problem and have refused to help. Sold a faulty game from a game store.... very poor and will never buy anything from them again, amazon gains another customer at your expense.

Deliberately Sending My Item To The Wrong Address
I've placed an order today - some details, including my address, were imported from Klarna - I was never given the choice to change the address, I thought It would happen on the checkout, but it never did.
basically Klarna had a very old address of mine, I don't live there anymore.
I contacted Game support literally 30seconds after my order was placed, to rectify the address issue.
They said they can't do anything, they can't even cancel my order, so they are deliberately sending my item to the wrong address.
The overall customer experience was very poor, with no guarantee that I will get my item, in fact no solution at all - as far as they can see - I've paid for the item, they don't seem to care whether I get it or not.
surely this is not legal or the bare minimum in compliance with UK Customer Rights, when 30seconds later after placing the order - the company is refusing to cancel your order, OR refusing to change the address, knowing the item will be delivered to some strangers.
This is unacceptable.

Appalling Treatment.
Ordered well in time for a Christmas delivery. Six days later and the order hasn't even been processed in the warehouse and with no reasonable explanation as to why. They are refusing a refund even though the order is yet to be processed. They are telling me to return the items after they have been delivered, although I am liable for the return postage costs, I think not, why should customers pay for their incompetence!. I have now purchased elsewhere.

Absolutely shocking customer service.
Ordered a PS5 controller as part of Black Friday deals. This never arrived.
Messaged customer service on the chat, and was told that the item is still with the courier and they have to enquire with them - an outcome of that would be shared with me within 48hrs. This was Weds 06.12. I made it clear that the order is needed for Christmas. I emailed again, and again on Friday, and received no update whatsoever.
Out of a sudden received reply today 10.12 to say that:
1 investigation with Evri has been raised TODAY so nobody did ANYTHING on Weds
2 they have 7-10 working days to conclude it (promised 48hr tops last Weds - so they simply lied to a customer)
3 they have 30 days legally to resolve such issues
So in simple terms, they just don't care. I odered my controller back in November, expecting it to be with me by Christmas. It looks like this won't be the case. And as this was a gift, will be totally useless after Christmas.
So now I have to go and buy it elsewhere, for a higher price, and may (or may not!!) receive the one I ordered in November at some point probably in January which will be completely useless then.
All the replies from customer service looks like simple 'copy-paste, we don't care'. I asked for a complaint to be raised 3 times, and the person dealing with my enquiry still did not bother to raise it (or answer any of my questions)
Since when is the customer responsible for a problem between Game and Evri? I don't even know if this has been sent as NEVER received a notification from Evri to say the item is on its way.
I have all the above in writing.
