for my whole 4 and half year tenancy i have suffered with severe disrepairs and they are STILL ongoing even though a solicitor been involed for the last 3 years, these people DO NOT fix anything they just patch up and the workmanship most of the time is substandard, they use threatening behaviour to try and keep you quiet, false accusations of me foaming at the mouth (i am disabled). This company is a discrace and the directors ALL need to answer to a judge. A corrupt and vile company, cannot wait to move and be away from this housing provider as ive gone through hell for past 4 and half years and it is still ongoing

I got locked out of my house because the back door was broken so when I called ysent an engineer who drilled out the lock on the wrong door and then said we would be charged for the call out! he stated it was easier to get into a house via the front door and when questioned further his reply to why it was easier was "because I am parked out the front"

we got left without 2 fire exits as the back door that was the door reported is still broken.

Horrendous attitude from staff. Slammed phone down on me! Rang them regarding a family who have a child who is a danger to other children. They didn't seem bothered in the slightest., All she had to say was "I cant discuss that with you"

Someone lost her mum in tragic circumstances, she has been through a traumatic time, having to get the police to gain entry to her mums house and when they entered they discover the mother was dead in the property. The daughter then had to arrange a funeral, empty a 3 bedroom house all the while having 2 young children to look after as a single parent and also her daughter having to have an operation.

First Choice Homes Oldham Ltd as an organisation showed absolutely no compassion about the situation.

A little compassion from yourselves as an organisation or maybe sending your staff on courses how to deal with bereaved families with EMPATHY and a little CARE might be a good idea.

First Choice Home Oldham Ltd have said the dead womans daughter will have to pay for the damage to 2 doors when it was necessary for the police to gain entry while her mother lay dead at the bottom of the stairs.

If that wasn't enough, to add insult to injury they also want her to pay for 2 weeks rent while she emptied the house??

She is a single working parent who just about manages to pay her bills and rent.

Her friends and the enraged local community are adamant she will not be paying a penny,and we will help her fight it every step of the way.

It's disgusting the way she has been treated!!!! Customer care skills non existent!!!!

This comes from the top down. The management are responsible however we would urge employees that if you are in the chain handing out these notices, that you report your disagreements of the issuing of such notices or simply refuse to comply.

Where possible, do not rent from this disgusting organisation.

We have contacted local and regional press to see if they can expose this organisation for what they are.
