I Cannot Believe This Company Is Still In Business
I cannot believe this company is still in business. We used to use their services until we long got rid of them. It is shameful to see so many people still suffering because of Chamonix Estates. They were the company we ever had the unfortunate experience to deal with. They should be prosecuted.

I have owned a property on a development since the beginning and bought our 2 bed flat off plan before it was complete.
I was told the service charge would be £600 per year and yet it has increased to almost £2000.
We have suffered 3 management companies all of which have taken from us.
CPM Asset Management and Francis Maintenance - prosecuted for £26m fraud and went into administration. They kept trading and charging with threats although they were not allowed to trade.
Winchesters Properties - the second company which was setup to scam tenants and left us with huge debt having then gone into administration.
Chamonix Estates - the current company who takes our money, lies to us and tries to hide behind the lease which can no longer protect them after what they are continuing to do.
I for one am going to take this all the way this time and not stop at mediation.
I urge you all to do the same and STOP PAYING THEM!
Hi. I and a number of homeowners in my new area feel the same. They are supposed to be looking after the area/grounds of a housing estate that is 2 years old and charging for lots of things that haven't been done or more to the point do not exist. They are not a business and I agree should be prosecuted.

Completely Useless Company
Completely useless company. They do not provide a single service yet they charge huge amounts in service charges. They do not respond and like to threaten tenants. They ignore every issue brought to their attention and fail to accept they are wrong. It seems they also add items to their service charges just to make more money for no reasons at all. A very bad company and a very bad service. It is only a matter of time as many complaints have been made to the authorities for an investigation to commence. I have also filed a formal complaint with the FCA and HMRC who has advised an investigation will take place due to the amount of complaints made.

The Best Of A Bad Bunch
I own several flats and deal with a number of management companies. In my experience, Chamonix are one of the best.
Part of the problem is that they have a lot of unreasonable tenants to deal with - I have been amazed at how selfish people can be, from smoking regularly in common parts to leaving piles of unbagged and non-domestic rubbish, and not treating door locks with respect. Well behaved leaseholders don't want to pay for that. So it ends up with conflict, and the management company get the blame.
Of course Chamonix will make mistakes and have the odd lazy employee. But they generally engage and work out a solution to problems.
What a load of rubbish and lies. This is obviously Chamonix Estate placing a good review about themselves to hide what they are doing.

In Denial
I have been complaining to this company for years about the lack of work they claim to have carried out. I live in a block of flats 6 in total. Each week or so the maintenance team claim the have cleaned, litter picked weeded etc when all they have done is vacuum. I am at the end stage of complaint process now. Not one person from this company believes me. They claim that they are satisfied with the work carried out even though I keep telling them it hasnt been done. Weeding when the ground is covered in snow? Litter picking? I'm at my wits end with this company. They keep dismissing my complaints and wont listen!!!

Over Charge You On Fee's And Don't Do The Job.
Stay away from the worst company claiming they do a good job. They overcharge people on fee's when slightly late at £42. They don't even do the job so not sure why we pay a service charge at all.

Allowed Raw Sewage To Flow In My Bathroom For Three Years
NEVER buy an apartment managed by them. This company should not be allowed to operate. They allowed raw sewage to leak into my bathroom for three years despite me telling them about the problem! They had the check to write to me an tell me that THEY had found it! They only acted when the apartment below complained about a leak which had been leaking from the waste pipe since I told them three years ago! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Unbelievably Poor Company !!! Do Not Use!!!
This company is a circus run by clowns. Trying to get a straight truthful answer from them in impossible. Will try to fob you off with any excuse rather than deal with the issue. Causing a crisis on our development over illegal parking measures introduced by these people. We have spent hours trying to sort out various issues with them and still not resolved even after 5 years. Absolute sick off this company!!

Awful Company - Avoid
Terrible levels of service. Communal areas of our block are left in poor condition, little to no attention to detail. Maintenance / upkeep jobs are frequently unfinished and just left as-is. Unacceptable levels of care, sadly legal action is the only way to invoke any kind of serious response, not what you want from a managing agent you entrust with the safe and quality upkeep of your homes immediate surroundings. So poor.

Awful Company!
There must be some sort of connection with this awful company and Taylor Wimpey. Its a sure thing for them that they will take over the care of the green areas on the Taylor Wimpey estates, and they do the bare minimum. Grass areas are a mess. No weeding. No dead shrubs or trees are replaced. And they never get back to you when you contact them. They couldn't care less. The residents of our estate are getting together and we are going to get rid of them.
We are in exactly the same position. Covenant included in the sale from Taylor Wimpey. Chamonix refuse to break down costs and clearly they are subcontracting works to their own subsidery companies. We are forming a residents group to challenge poor service and claim breach of contract. We should be able to get the same service through alternative companies for less money. Local councils who are strapped for cash offer grounds maintenance contracts adn if they are local there will not be inflated costs for transitioning.
