Shoddy Design, Terrible Support
For an expensive appliance this is very shoddily designed. The glass induction hob is not properly protected from the heat coming from the oven below leading to all sorts of problems. Roasting a turkey caused the whole hob to cut out. We spent £600 on a replacement glass which had cracked only for the new glass to fail within 2 months. Falcon would not honour the warranty on the part, claiming that closing the door while grilling amounted to misuse. They were extremely unhelpful and I would never buy this brand again.

Falcon 1092 Deluxe Faulty, Unsafe, Poor Support
Keep your hard earned money in your pocket rather than buying a Falcon (Aga Rangemaster) cooker.
We purchased this as an ex-display model with one year warranty as a replacement for a rather good Evershot 90 which was costly to run.
After about 18 months the hobs started to randomly turn on and off at random power levels making loud clicking sounds. This would happen with the dials set to the off position. Anything left on the hob, such as a kettle, would get warm over night. Other hobs would turn on as requested but then three of them would stop working with an error symbol flashing.
One of the oven thermostats stopped working so food would be incinerated.
This also a very noisy cooker with its incessant cooling fans.
Despite the grill control showing a variable range of heat it works as fully on or off. It also takes a long time to heat.
We now resort to having the cooker turned off at the fuse box when not in use as we do not trust it to be safe.
Falcon customer support couldn't care less and referred us to a third party repair company.
Falcon is owned by Aga Rangemaster. I will never buy from this group of companies ever again. We miss the Everhot.
Our lesson is to not pay a lot of money for a seemingly top brand of cooker.
Stay clear of Falcon/Aga Rangemaster.

Expensive Mistake
Bought the falcon 1092 induction range cooker 6 June 2015. Looks lovely, robust build and wanted to spec up from the range master 110 Toledo which I had previously had for over 10 years.
The fan oven has always cooked 30 degrees hotter than it should. They say allow for 20% increase but mine is closer to 30% hotter. Only realised this after numerous baking calamities!
Then the induction hob broke after 5 years. You can only use a falcon recommended engineer and call out fee to diagnose problem is £132 plus £678 for 4 ring replacement and potentially another £200 if the 5th ring needed replacing plus another £52 to come and fix it. Part only guaranteed for 6 months and work for 3 months. I am truly disgusted at this. Have decided to write the cooker off and and will never be tempted to spend a lot of money on a cooker again. To make matters worse, it was suggested a general fault is the oven seals wear very quickly and it was this that caused the problem as steam rose and got into the hob. Had we known this we would have checked the seals regularly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Please Don't Buy
The product would be fine, if it worked. Sadly, four of the five induction hobs blew within days of installation. We've been trying to get these people to fix it for four weeks with no result. At all. Plenty of phone calls, hours of time, no action. Nothing, nix, rien, nada. I won't bore readers with the details, but I would just make this point - if you buy one of this company's products, you had better be sure that it works perfectly because if you try to get them to fix it, you'll be waiting a very long time.

Useless Not Fit For Purpose
Been cooking/baking all my married life. Thought it would just take time to get used to the ovens - i think 4years is long enough. Unf. both oven are unstable. I've had an engineer out to fix the wiring and the temperature issues. It made very little difference. Basically the temp. gage bears no resemblance to the temp of either ovens. From one day to the next i have no idea whether it will massacre or just not cook what's put in it. One oven takes 45 mins to get to temp! so buy a microwave if you need to cook in a hurry.

Fantastic Cooker, Appaling Service!
We ordered our Falcon cooker with induction hob last September. We were cooking for 16 people on Christmas day so thought we had left enough time for it to be delivered and fitted. After chasing through the local shop we had bought it through about three times the cooker turned up a week before Christmas in the wrong colour. We kicked up a fuss and the local shop were fantastic in getting us the right cooker in time for Christmas....it was delivered and fitted on Christmas eve. Before using it we had to burn off the chemicals for a few hours and about an hour in to doing this two of the induction hobs started flashing up with a fault code, E2. Basically we couldn't use these two hobs and had to call an engineer. We managed on Christmas day without the two hobs (I love the cooker, though the grill could be bit deeper.)After Christmas we called Falcon to arrange an engineer. The engineer arrived in February with the wrong parts so left without fixing it and told us they would put the correct parts on order. It is now April and we haven't heard a word from them...Basically 7 months after ordering our Falcon cooker it still isn't fully functioning!
I thought I would just update my post as I received notification that you had posted...
In total we were visited by three engineers on separate occasions all who bought the wrong part and went away saying they would put another on order. We had to chase Falcon each time before an arrangement was made for the next engineer to turn up. Eventually we wrote a letter explaining the situation and asked for a new cooker.
They called us and arranged for an engineer to come with a complete new induction panel. When he arrived he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Apparently the new induction panel costs them £500 (but cheaper than replacing the whole cooker I suppose)! He changed the panel very quickly and even gave me a demonstration. It turns out the grill is actually very clever and simple to use as you can change the height of the grill by simply taking the grill out, turning it over, upside down and back to front etc to create four different grill heights. Great design. (I should have read the instruction manual)! As I said before, great product but not great service, until the very end!
I hope both of you have since received products you are happy with!
This sounds so familiar. We ordered a fridge freezer, which went wrong after 10 months. Again the wrong parts were ordered, the technician sent didn't know the fridge and two months later we are still waiting for it to be fixed. Very rude and unhelpful customer service. Incredibly poor. I won't EVER be buying from them again!
That's appalling, we've just ordered one, so fingers crossed. Hope yours gets resolved soon

Shocking After Care
I am very pleased with the cooker itself, now it works, but I would never buy another Falcon Product again. The after sales card from Falcon is shocking. It took over a month to repair my brand new cooker and I am still waiting for the damage the engineer caused to my floor to be repaired seven weeks later. I thought that the service from an Aga company would be fantastic but it is not!

1092 Induction Top 2 Oven Cooker Black/chrome
Bought this cooker nearly 2 years ago and we've had no problems whatsoever. Was very heavy and the local shop sent two young lads to deliver which did not seem sensible. Was a bit scary getting it into the house, but once in position looked lovely. The induction top is brilliant and very easy to keep clean- it is as quick as gas to heat things up. Our electric bills have decreased so I think it must be quite efficient to use. You do need to buy pans that work with induction hobs, but they keep very clean so will last a long time. This is our second induction hob and the pans we are using are 12 years old and are still as good as new.
I am really happy with my cooker but I would never ever buy another Falcon Product. The customer is shocking. My cooker went wrong afteri used it three times, it took over a month to fix it and the engineer damaged by brand new floor and the matter still isn't resolved.
I do not ordinarily reply to posts but I'll on this case.my God, i htguoht you had been heading to chip in with some decisive insght on the finish there, not go away itwith ‘we go away it to you to decide’.

Falcon 1092 Deluxe Induction Hob Range Cooker.
Falcon 1092 deluxe induction hob range cooker.
first range had to be rejected as multifunction oven incorrectly wired and both ovens overheating well outside Falcons own acceptable tolerence.
8 week wait, new range delivered. Multifunction oven again incorrectly wired, repaired. Now neither ovens venting to rear so all roasts off as awaiting further visit from engineer.
My dream cooker had become a nightmare. The induction hob I cannot fault and is even better than gas for control and cleaning.
Customer service are dimissive, arrogant and patronising. Engineers to date been pleasant if uncommunicative.
I love its looks but regret the day I bought it

We Have Had So Many Problems With This Falcon 1092
We have had so many problems with this falcon 1092 standard double oven cooker and such appalling, contemptuous after service from Falcon that I cannot recommend anyone to go anywhere near this company. They are arrogant, dismissive and contemptuous of their customers, never return 'phone calls, and worst of all, systematically lied to us. When people compliment us on our cooker, we cannot take any pride in it. Don't go near this company - you are likely, in our experience to regret it profoundly.
I had to give a star for service and support, otherwise I would have given them zero for this category, and even that is too high - their service rates at about minus 10.
Q&A
I have a Falcon 1092 standard double oven gas range which is over 20 years old.
It has been a very reliable appliance until recently. The smaller left hand oven no longer heats up properly. The gas ignites normally but we can’t turn up the heat and it’s only use is as a warming oven for plates.
Who can fix this for me?
