I wanted to use them because having checked out the competition, they were offering the best price for my old phone. After filling in the form on the website, I got a pop up window assuring me that they had dispatched the Freepost envelope and a confirmation email was on its way.

Nothing arrived.

After a week or so, I tried emailing them - No reply

After another week I started from scratch and filled in the webform again -

Once again I was assured a Freepost envelope and an email were dispatched - Nothing arrived.

Rinse and repeat....

Having seen all the other dreadful reviews, I now realise I was incredibly LUCKY that they screwed up so badly, as if I HAD sent it off I would probably never have seen it again or any payment for it.

Sent my phone, as with the other reviews, i sent my phone because the website looked quite reputable. DO NOT FALL FOR IT! READ THE OTHER REVIEWS! I have reported this to consumer direct 08454 04 05 06. If you have sent them your phone, and they have not paid you, i suggest you do the same.

I sent off my Iphone for a promised £210 by special delivery on 11th June and am still waiting for money. The site still states that they have not received the phone. Phone Buyer have no phone number to chase and do not reply to any e-mail.

Royal Mail have investigated and have a Mr D White collecting it on CCTV and have sent me a copy of his signature!! Royal Mail state they have a large number of cases involving the same person - but as they (Royal Mail) have completed delivery, it is not their issue.

I have informed the Hampshire Police who say it is up to Trading Standards. Trading standards are investigating the matter but will likely need more cases so if anybody has the same experience - please forward to Trading Standards to make us all have a better chance of stopping this crook!!!

DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE!!!

Sent phones off 6 weeks ago - desperately need the money to cover some funeral expenses and I have not heard a word from them. £375 they claim my phones were worth - sent recorded delivery and 6 emails later still nothing. I wish I knew what to do next....they are robbing B*****rds.

I sent of a brand new Iphone 4 unwanted upgrade. They offered 375..promised to get in touch as soon as it arrived..which it did special delivery! they did not get in touch!! They now have my phone, have not contacted me and I have no money! I am gutted as a single mum of 3. They are nothing but theives, who avoid contact at all costs....Dont send your phone! Wish i'd looked here first. silly me. How do they get away with it?

I too am still waiting for my money now 4 wks later and nothing I have emailed everyday and not even had a reply .... My advise is to steer well clear they are idiots who steal phones

We have also had a bad experience - we are still waiting for payment of £93 nearly 2 months after sending the phone. We have provided them with 2 sets of account details as they said our banks (Barclays and First Direct) weren't accepting the BACs payments and now they say they will send a cheque.

We have had to chase for info at every stage and I don't believe a cheque will be sent.

If you have issues with this company, report them to Trading Standards - I've done this today and they advise that they can't do anything about the company until they have received a number of complaints against it.

They quoted me 110 pounds and once they got the phone they said they will only give me 75 pounds. There was nothing wrong with the phone. It was brand new and they couldn't give a me reason why they put the price down. I told them to send my phone back. For months they said they would send it back. I got fed up and told them I am taking them to court. They told me they will send my phone back within 5 days. I waited 2 weeks and still nothing. Finally I told them they will hear from my solicitor and I got a tx this morning to say they put 75 pounds into my account. What F**kers!!! DON'T US THEM!!!!

Same as everyone else I'm afraid. 2 phones sent to them and they claim not to have received them. The same day I sent 2 phones to doughdough and received £60 within 48 hours.
