Ordered one item which was ok.

Then got signed up to book club subscriptions service and gardening subscription!!

Never asked or wanted these .. money was taken and I had to get bank to block this company.

They are taking advantage of vulnerable people

This company clearly has no concern for data protection as they are seemingly refusing to remove my address from their database. I have never shopped here and certainly never would consider it after this. They will not stop sending brochures to my house addressed to the previous owner (averaging 3-4 each month) despite numerous requests via their website, email, social media and by sending the brochures back. After 6 months of sending the brochures back, I asked them to stop sending them to me in September and they told me they would stop after 30 days. After receiving more brochures over 30 days later I asked them to stop again, and they said wait 30 more days, and repeat the next month - we are now into January and another has arrived. The sheer quantity of these brochures (all of which look exactly the same) is ridiculous and each one is covered in a plastic sheet - what a lovely way to destroy the environment. It's a never ending cycle, but from reading the experiences of others on their Facebook page, I can't say I'm too surprised at what is happening. I'm not sure what more I can do to make them take this seriously other than start letting others know to stay away, and I recommend you take a look at the comments on their Facebook page if you're unconvinced.

Too Long A Wait

I ordered 7 items on the 14th September. I wanted to pay 3.00 extra for next day delivery but was told not possible due to covid but goods would be delivered 5 to 7 working days.

As at 21st October still waiting for completion of order to be delivered. Other goods all arrived late in dribs and drabs and yet we seem to receive a catalogue at least once a week which I either repost saying return to sender or throw in the recycling bin. Will definitely not be having anything to do with them ever again. I wish I had read all the reviews before ordering as I definitely wouldnt have bothered. They make shocking reading.

I will definitely be trying to get unsubscribed from receiving any further junk mail from them which is how I now think of their catalogue.

Ebay delivers in just a couple of days and I'm sure Amazon does as well.

Emails and letters I have sent all have been completely ignored.

What a waste of time bothering and hanging on the end of a phone listening to stupid music.

Don't Bother

I agree with all of the above reviews.

Ist order I placed a few months ago, I item 'out of stock' - asked if the items IN stock could be sent, with the remainder to follow. They said they 'didn't do that'.

Waited 3 weeks. Order came, items not bad quality, some a bit naff.

Second order (£175.00), chased after 3 weeks, as I saw that order was 'allocated awaiting picking'. They saw fit to send me another catalogue, BUT NOT THE GOODS!

It's now nearly 5 weeks, & after sending them a fairly curt email telling them to take me off the mailing list & that I would not be using them again, had an email saying the order was on its way; but only after the 1st email saying 'problems processing your payment' - sent at the same time!

I realise that everyone's been hit by the virus, but if you advertise a service, you should ensure you have the staff to deal with it - VERY POOR MANAGEMENT.

NO APOLOGIES, NO VALID REASONS. CUSTOMER SERVICES? - YEAH, RIGHT!

Dreadful company. They dont deliver. Dont answer tracking calls. Dont reply to emails.The only recommendation I can make is dont order anything from them

Where Is My Money?

Sent large order. 69.95. 28th April. Cheque cashed May 6th. Now July 2nd and in spite of many attempted phone calls and emails on my part I have only had a general response to say they do not take money till goods are dispatched. Certainly not true in my case. Money or goods please and some more personal contact with a real person.

Really Bad Company

If I could give zero stars I would!

I received my order except the heated massage mat that came too late, no return details inside, sent several emails that remain unanswered, tried to ring twice, 1st time I was no. 87 in the queue, the second time I was no. 121 in the queue. I received a telephone call from them which I still don’t know what it was about but after, they took £1.99 from my account. Again I emailed several times about this and I think because it was titled ‘unauthorised transaction’ I finally got a response & was reimbursed the £1.99 however the second part of the same email was about returning this massage mat which to date they have not responded. I am now stuck with this mat which will never be used as every time I would see it will remind me of this awful, non-responsive company. My advice is to look elsewhere for your item .

They took an unauthorised amount from my credit card. I have requested they refund the money. I don't hold out much hope.

The only thing I can do is to change my credit card as they are untrustworthy.

HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY!

Absolute Trickery Avoid This Company

If you buy from Easylife, beware. They will pass your details and your card details on to their sister company the so called CAR CLUB. you will then find yourself £60 out of pocket because they will have persuaded you into NOT saying yes to the car club and then take the money from your account. They fail to send any paperwork. Do nothing when you phone them and put the blame on a call center they use.

EASY LIFE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR COMPANY, THE WHOLE COMPANY.

Avoid This Company And Save Money

I bought a so-called Deluxe Shoe Ottoman Bench which allegedly holds 9 pairs of gents' shoes. Well, yes, I imagine it does if they're small size narrow flip-flops. I take size 8 and at most I've been able to fit in 5 pairs, and that was with difficulty, using only the top and bottom shelves or putting shoes in sideways. It hasn't been easy to close with shoes on the top shelf. On removal shoes have been scuffed. I tried all sorts of combinations of shelf positions but it's made no difference. Was the photo in the catalogue photoshopped? What I have is an expensive box with a cushioned top which never comes near Deluxe and is not fit for purpose.

Delivery was supposed to be on a Friday so we made arrangements to be in, only to arrive home on Thursday to find it left in our porch.

When unpacked a piece of the veneer had come off a panel but luckily it was on the interior surface so doesn't show. The assembly instructions were imprecise, unclear and vague. Some of the screw heads were soft and soon went out of shape. I should've read the reviews first!

All in all, a waste of money and I'll never use this company again.

I have returned a 2 seater furniture protector on 26 October to exchange for the larger 3 seater size, and I am still waiting!

I have rung several times, no satisfaction given, told 2-3 weeks then they hang up! I realise it will be £5 extra for the larger size.

Postage should be free as it is an exchange. P.S no answer to my emails from them either. Can anyone help me?

Can my order be cancelled without being charged? So far no money has gone from my credit card account. The items were ordered on 9th January and I'm still awaiting delivery.

You can cancel order without charge. Money is taken from card only on despatch of goods. Just contact pathetic.customer service by phone(min20 hold) they seem to understand the word cancel if you insist on it. Have waited 6 weeks for non delivery. So cancelled order and found same items on E.bay cheaper and next day delivery. Did this yesterday. Goods despatched yesterday or today delivery tomorrow, all tracked and emailed to confirm each stage. Dont use this company. Zero star rating.
