They Do Not Think Their Promises Are Anythin
They do not think their promises are anything more than hooks to attract custom. When confronted with the fact that they say 'Next Day Delivery' they explained that I had misunderstood and that delivery actually takes three weeks!
Marshall Ward, now ISME - you order something and ...2 months later - big nothing. Couple of calls with their very friendly support. Couple of calls to their delivery company - Home Delivery Network ( Another Giant of bad service company). And still big nothing. Not only I don't get my order (ordered on 16/12), but I still don't have my money back.
NEVER EVER CONSIDER THIS SITE FOR SHOPPING, THIS IS A BIG FRUSTRATION SHOPPING WITH THEM!!!

Most catalogue companies appear to be connected to each other, i.e. Marshall Ward and Additions are the same for a start. All of them are just money grabbers and totally unhelpful when a problem arises. The staff are rude and if they are not rude they are just unable to help. I now realise that rudeness is a cover for lack of knowledge of how to help a customer. Any of these catalogues are not really worth getting involved with - i want a peaceful easy life and catalogues are not going to help that. I have used many and have never found one that I could really recommend to a friend - even enemies wouldnt deserve it.

Those Who Are Considering Using Marshall Ward, Do
Those who are considering using Marshall Ward, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER! We ordered a number of items valued at almost 1,000 pounds last month. Firstly they delivered some of the items to the wrong address, secondly arranging delivery date is an absolute nightmare. I took time off work just to receive deliveries but only to find out they messed up with the date and items were sent back to their warehouse. This is after various of phn calls confirming they can deliver on this date. Altogether I made about 20 phone calls each time with different person so I had to re-explain everything, no one knows who I spoke to the previous times as apparently they have a number of call centers and their system doesn't keep track of such records. Obviously these phn calls are costing me money. They constantly make promises that they will call me back with a solution (all bull-sh#t). Today I lodged in a complaint-form to the manager and was told 'a manager' will call within 2 hours... and now it's been more than 4 hours yet no call. As for the items that were sent to the wrong address, we are STILL chasing up for a refund. They said an investigation needs to be carried-out before a refund (?). I don't understand considering it is clearly their error in the first place. The nightmares still continue.... I give 0 rating for Marshall Ward. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT buy anything from them.

Online Services Very Very Poor. Ordered Twice Bot
Online services very very poor. Ordered twice both times they don't have my order but still requested payment from my bank. My bank received request but not had anyone to claim it thats because there is no order on the system. Made countless phone calls to my bank and the company and all ends to nothing. Customer services in Very is really bad, their response to the problem very standard and they did not understand the issues i was having. Very unhelpful and i am taking this to watchdog.

Ordered A Hideaway Desk. 10 Minutes Later The Othe
Ordered a hideaway desk. 10 minutes later the other half decided she wanted something else. I rang to cancel and the guy told me that the order had already been shipped. I said "in ten minutes, thats quick, it says delivery in two days". He told me its already been packed and will be with me tommorow. I told him I wasn't happy and he informed me not to sign for the order and I would receive a refund. The order was left in my porch.
The cost of returning made it not worth it by now so I constructed the desk to find it had two left hinge doors. Several emails and more rubbish about re-ordering a second desk and returning it to get my missing door. I have given up. Just a waste of time. Customer service a absolute joke - avoid like the plague.

Marshall Ward are rubbish and stink. I have been having financial problems and so I got a Solictor involved. They agreed to a financial plan and then never stuck to it! and changed me £12.00 a month in charges for something I have never ever broke. They have now employed another agency called 'Outside Bodies' they are total useless too. I am now in more debt than when I started so beware at your peril and DO NOT buy off this company as you will end up totally deflated, washed up and used. Their service has been appalling and if anyone is reading this from Marshall Ward then you should be ashamed of yourself for working for a company such as this.

please do not buy at Marshallward. They are the most unprofessional company I have dealt with. We arranged a delivery date, I took a day off and they called me the evening before because they had to reschedule it. Eventually, they delivered the wrong item and they told me they couldn't give me a refund unless I arranged for the wrong item to be collected as they couldn't contact the depot themselves. The other option was to order the item again (at this point I thought I was on a TV programme such as You've been framed). Instead of apologising, the customer service people told me they could do nothing. They wanted me to call the depot and basically beg them to collect the wrong item during the weekend (As I said I wasn't going to take another day off..as I had taken 2 off already). After spending 1 hour on the phone, the manager agreed on emailing the depot herself. Still haven't heard from them....

very very very poor service ordered some trousers off them and have just been told that i wont be recieving them after waiting over a month for them and also ordered a laptop from them but as they had put the wrong prise i nearly didnt get it even though i had to wait nearly 3 months for it
