Sol Magalluf Park Hotel

Right well.. Sol Magalluf Park. When we arrived at the hotel at 2am, we were rather pleased with the look of the hotel it appeared to be a modern clean hotel. However the check in guy was rude..very rude. When we asked about the deposit box (safe) for our room which was 20 euros (expensive even for a deposit), we were told that we would receive the whole deposit back.. when checking out he turned around and we were told we would only get 5euros back RIP OFF! He then shows us the very small print on the receipt..Sneaky b****rds!If i had known that before check out i would of taken the safe with me haha.

Our rooms were nice and clean..however the fan didnt look to safe and we felt as if it would fall off the ceiling at any time and decapitate us. The balcony was decent but there was no sun reaching it.

First day was good, we arrived down to breakfast (food was adequate). In reception the manager has her only little desk. She's a rather plump lady, sour faced and appears snooty. This first impression was correct she was a total sour faced old bint, with no people skills reminded me of a strict headmistress. The staff at the hotel spoke little English so she was the only one who was brittish we went to ask her a question she spoke to us like children and shooed us away. RUDE. Two girls that we met there were charged 30 euros for things they never did. She chucked atleast 3 groups of boys out the hotel some on only their second day without hearing an explanation or facts.

The bar staff were ignorant and rude, their people skills were horrific and they spoke little english and since 90% of customers staying at the hotel were British they should have people who can speak English. The maid we had was lovely, polite and respectful however our sweet packets were short of a few sweets each time. Although the other maids and cleaners on the floor were noisy and loud and you would often be awoken by them banging next door or cleaning out a room. When sitting down eating your food the staff jump at every opportunity to steal your plate back off you sometimes mid way of a mouthful..became quite annoying. Bit like those annoying tw*ts pulling you into the strip bars like a game of hungry hippo's. AWFUL.

We came all inclusive...WHAT A JOKE. Its not a selection of drinks its a few.

pop was watered down and they shove so much ice in there its hard to drink.

There are only 2 SNACKS that are included and thats two crack thing tiny and a tuna, prawn and fish pizza which was DISGUSTING. SO ALL INCLUSIVE WAS THE BIGGEST JOKE OF THE HOLIDAY.

This is not a family hotel full of groups of immature boys and b****y girls by the poolside. (not everyone but majority).

The loudness in the night and security bang down your door sometimes just to ask how many people were in your room. At 4-5 in the morning!! Not good.

The best thing about this hotel is the fact its next to KATMUNDU WHICH IS AMAZING! WELL WORTH A LOOK. The guy Tony in the shop accross from the hotel was also lovely.

They kick you out of your rooms at 12pm (literally shoo you out) and there is no options to keep your rooms for longer.

ALL IN ALL..PRETTY SH*T HOTEL AND I WOULDNT STAY THERE IF THEY OFFERED ME A WEEKS FREE STAY!

The food was ok the first two days - I would not stay in the Sol Magalluf Park Hotel again you can not get any sleep due to the noise from the tiled corridor was terrible, also the noise from the cleaners.

The entertainment was bad.

Staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent, we are going to spend Christmas and see the New Year in this year 2008, this hotel is highly recommended. Very good entertainment and quiet out of season.

Loved every bit of the hotelSol Magalluf Park. The entertainment at night time at the hotel was a really good laugh. There is everything that children could ever want 2 do and the food is lovely. People that work in it are really polite and the night life in the hotel was really good lots of entertainment.

Excellent place for young people, its buzzing 24/7 and is a stones throw from everything you need, shops, bars, BCM, the beach! 10 out of 10 for me!

The room was generally tidy but had no Sol refinements no air con, the hotel seemed to be a place for drunken yobs. The Sol staff seemed unable to control their clientele.

Just back had a nice week food hotel nice cant complain but does get noisy at the weekends could do with more security on to keep the noise level down through night.

The entertainment was excellent again this year, they do all sort of shows which are excellent, they made my brother and sister very welcome, were gonna miss them, you cant ask for a better entertainment team, the shows were excellent, all the people that work in the hotel are very friendly and helpful, its great for younger children, and the pubs and clubs are excellent! The pools are wicked there is an outdoor one and indoor and also a childrens pool! The food is gorgeous overall me and my family love the hotel its the best! My grandma has been going for 15 years in a row! I give it 10/10.

Brill hotel. We travel to Magalluf a lot and stayed in various hotels but this one beats them all hands down although its only 3 * its like a 5* excellent food drinks. Friendly atmosphere, plenty to do. Definitely top marks all round and will be visiting again definitely. Top marks all round excellent entertainment , remarkable food, views from hotel, pool, bar, shop inside hotel and right on the doorstep.

Overall worst hotel I have ever stayed in, would never stay there again it was shockingly appalling! But the facilities were great! Poor Customer Service I had €100 stolen from the safe in the room and the hotel failed to do anything about it, even after the 5th time of asking! I found the service during dinner appalling. As soon as you put your knife and fork down the plate was gone, even if you had not finished eating they would take it! The reception is supposed to speak good English (at least that is what we were told) and they did not! If you have children or are in the 'later generations' this is not the place as the people who stay there are generally loud and want a good time. Not to be complained at every two minutes because someone wants to go to bed at 10pm!
