I Like The Prior Comment....wish We Could State Le
I like the prior comment....wish we could state less then one! I would give them a big zero! They charge for calls not made; two seperate calls noted as being dialed the same date and exact time; how we would dial from one phone the same two doubled, I do not think technology is doing that. And would not resolve it even though the charge was under $1.00! They have horrible customer service reps who can not even spell the simplest of names. Nothing is good about them....
I Wish There Was Something Less Than Zero That I C
I wish there was something less than zero that I could rate them. I say that I've paid my bill in full every month so where does balance due come from? Customer service (ha ha) reps are unable to tell me. I requested that they send me a copy of the overdue bill. I didn't hear from them again til today when I received a letter telling me they were going to turn me over to collections.

I Make My Payments Through A Bill Paying Service A
I make my payments through a bill paying service at my bank. I have never had any problem with any company except Vartec. The do not accept electronic transactions so my bank has to send a paper document. Three times in the last year my payment has been mis-posted showing me past due. It has happened twice in the last three months. I have called numerous times and have given the full information which also showed the account number the payment was posted to but they would not attempt to verify the payment. All they wanted to do was to have me make a payment. I mailed copies of the payment document to the research and collections dept. After talking to them several times to no avail, I received a cut-off notice. I called back the same day I received the notice and told them it was supposed to be under investigation. Still all they wanted was for me to make another payment. I refused. On the day before service was to be cutoff I again called with the same result. Nobody made any offer to verify my information. On the cutoff date I also called again. The same result. About noon on that date by service was cut off. I called on my cell phone to see if my mailed information had been received. They refused to check to see if it had been received. I then asked for their fax number to send the information. I tried for over an hour to fax through my computer but kept getting a message that appears to mean the line was busy. I then drove to my bank and they fax the information. I then called them back. They finally went to the back room, found the fax and had the payment credited to my account. They then told me they could not reinstate my service for 24 to 48 hours which I find very hard to believe. If this happened to their president I am sure they would find some way to restore the service at once. My service has now been off for 24 hours and being a week-end I am sure it will not be back on until the first of the week. I am strongly considering a law suit.

Re-connection Of My Long Distance Service Has Not
Re-connection of my long distance service has not been made after 12 days. Virtual daily calls to the Vartec Telecom repair/accounting departments have no impact. Our bill is paid in full!
I will use another long distance, International call provider, but first I will contact their president.

Vartec Telecom Offer Excellent Value For Money In
Vartec Telecom offer excellent value for money in providing a service at reasonable rates.
What impresses me most however is the courteousness and efficiency of Vartec's operators. I have worked in training people in Effective Speaking, and those I have dealt with on the telephone have been unfailingly friendly and helpful - no mean feat in today's world where brusqueness and even rudeness can be met with.
