Playa Del Ingles, Green Field Aparthotel

I went there with my friend in the beginning of September and was surprised. It was my best holiday ever!! It is very lively, lots of bars, restaurant around, if you wanna have fun and meet some young people from all the world...this is definitely place for you!!! I wouldn't recomend it to families with children, it might be too noisy for them. The hotel is great and clean all the time, swimming pool large, free sunbeds...everything what the young people are looking for... Definitely coming back!!!

Had a wonderful holiday would highly recommend to anyone as we went with a 7 year old and there was so much to do for everyone...........Would also suggest that you go on the RANDY LEPRECHAUN BOOZE CRUISE which is on every Thurs and is well worth the 30 euros which includes all free drink and food as well as lots of "party games"

It was very clean and every morning we got our room cleaned. Location in Playa Del Ingles was excellent. Try them out seriously!

The Green Field Aparthotel in Playa Del Ingles, Gran Canaria is a fabulous place with loads to do. The waterpark in Maspalomas was class. The food is excellent in Playa Del Ingles, and the Irish court seems the cheapest for drink. Green Field Aparthotel is everything you could want!

I stayed at the Green Field Aparthotel in Gran Canaria over the New Year and had a brilliant time. I was a bit apprehensive before I went after reading some reviews, as we were travelling with our daughter, but she had a ball! There was a fantastic street party on New Year's Eve for the young and old. It was my second time staying there, and I will definitely go back.

Stayed in the Green field Aparthotel in August 2004. I booked our holiday with a tour operator based on allocation on arrival, we were very happy it turned out to be the Green Field. Everything was great except our key was given out to someone not staying in the apartment. although nothing was stolen, they trashed the apartment. All in all still a great holiday and the best place in the resort to stay. This was my 15th time to Playa Del Ingles and out of everywhere I've stayed this was the best.

I just back from Playa Del Ingles yesterday and I stayed Green field Aparthotel. 90% of the people staying in the hotel are aged between 18 and 30, and most are up for a wild holiday wit lots of drinking! and the sun of course!!

The hotel is loud, there is something going on all the time so if its a nice quiet holiday you want Green Field is not for you.

I would recommend you do try to get a room at the back of the hotel, ask for a room at the poolside, but if your a load of lads up for a mad one every night, try the front.

Staff there are great. All in all I loved it there, I'm not saying there isn't better, I don't know but try it out you'll like it.

I stayed at Green field Aparthotel in December 2000, the hotel is great as a base for touring as it is close to shopping centres and the local bus route runs by the door. The hotel itself is basic, the reception area is clean and the staff can have their moments, the toilets in the reception area are not kept clean and after a wild weekend can be clogged which means you have to trapse up to your room to use your own which isn't good for your social life! The bar entertainment was lousy, I could have done better! We were supposed to have a 'gala' dinner at Christmas and new year's so I got all dressed up, I needn't have bothered it was just a buffet and people were coming in with bags of shopping, swimsuits and it generally didn't put you in the Christmas spirit. The pool was good but lost most of the sun during the day and I really like the poolside bar which served better food than the restaurant! Overall, don't expect a luxurious hotel as its 3 stars suggest (in Spain the star ratings are not updated regularly as in other European countries) and treat it as somewhere to bed down for the night.

My friend and I have just come back from Playa Del Ingles and we stayed at the Greenfield Aparthotel. We found the staff very friendly and had no problems whatsoever with our accommodation.

It was directly in the middle of everything especially the brilliant HOPSTORE pub which catered for all ages in nightly entertainment. The two guys Eamon and Andy from Northern Ireland otherwise known as BandJaxd were brilliant entertainers and we would recommend anyone travelling to Playa de Ingles to pay them a visit and say HI from the two Galway Girls.

Also Carlos the Manager and Angel the waiter were pleasant and friendly and a pleasure to meet.

So our advice to all you holiday makers contemplating going to to Playa de Ingles is stay at the Greenfield and visit the Hopstore, you wont be disappointed.

We weren't.

We had the bad luck of staying in this Dump, the Greenfield Aparthotel at Playa del Ingles on Gran Canary, during early Oct 02.

The hotel is dirty. The accommodation is bland, dark & in need of serious renovation.

The staff are rude and uninterested. The breakfast, which is standard for all guests, is served in a smoke filled basement hall, which is shrouded in smoke, regardless of the section, smoking or non, that you chose to sit in.

The tiling in the pool could do with a cleaning and some of the clientele are best avoided. The area around the hotel is EXTREMELY noisy and this does not change, be it daytime or the middle of the night.

3* I DON'T THINK SO. It does not warrant a single star.
