Playa Del Ingles, IFA Catarina Hotel

My partner and I stayed at the IFA Catarina Hotel for seven nights in August 2011. We were really pleased with the hotel and were definately happy with our choice. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean and was made up with fresh sheets and towels daily. The hotel itself is set in really beautiful gardens so there was always lots of space if you wanted to sunbathe on the loungers without feeling like you're really on top of everyone. The pool was nice although was quite busy with children playing etc so not lots of space for swimming but perfect for having a quick dip and a cool off. We went half board and were always happy with the food, lots of choice and the salad bar was particularly nice. Reasonably priced drinks too. The hotel is a quite a way from the beach, about a 15 min walk, but it's all flat and there is a regular shuttle bus that goes back and forth if you prefer. The beach is gorgeous though and really worth going down for. All in all we had a brilliant holiday, the weather was gorgeous, hotel was great and the resort seemed to cater for all and I'd definately recommend to a friend.
