Gran Melia Bahia del Duque

Been here for my anniversary and it was lovely. The villas are amazing with private pools outdoors and an indoor "swimming pool" size bathing area complete with rose petals in the water.

Only downside : it's miles of hills if you leave the complex walking... but who would leave?

A place we would always want to return to.

Costa Adeje, Gran Melia Bahia del Duque - This resort is without a doubt the grandest and finest in the area. The gorgeous architecture is striking and the nicest in the vicinity. It is a relatively expensive hotel, but in my opinion very good value for money when compared with other hotels of this calibre.

We went on a bed & breakfast basis, but it would be good value to stay half-board.

June is technically off-season which I prefer as the hotel is barely half-full. This means that you don't have to rush for sunbeds or queue for the buffet. The weather is still lovely and hot!
