Laguna Park 1 Hotel

I booked this hotel after the original hotel I booked was sold out and on the recommendation of a rep. We arrived on Saturday 8th October. The hotel is basic, no air conditioning and is dated. I wouldn’t recommend for a quiet relaxing break as the hotel is loud and opposite lap dancing club. When we went for breakfast the sachet of milk for my coffee was out of date and had curdled. The breakfast was basic and our bed was also broken. Really poor and not worth 3*

We arrived back from Tenerife on Saturday after spending two weeks at the Laguna Park 1 hotel. I went with my husband.

Good points - clean hotel / pool / close to amenities and the beach / snack bar / friendly staff

Bad points - The food was bland and there was shameless recycling of the leftovers. The majority of food each day was oven food. There was a choice of two main dishes in addition to the chips/fish fingers/pizza/salad/pasta. The choice was usually a fish and meat offering however as mentioned the food was bland and of poor quality. As a result of the poor food we ate out 9/14 days.

Each night lead to being woken up by children running around (as late as 1am), drunken teenagers (3am) and family shouting matches (3.30/4am).

The hotel itself isn't bad however our holiday was let down by the food and some guests. When we booked it we were convinced we had found a bargain however we spent an additional £500 eating out and generally staying away from the hotel.

Ps Siam Park is amazing! Worth the trip.
