I Used Kazaa For Two Months, Didn't Download Many
I used Kazaa for two months, didn't download many songs because they don't make it very simple, and when I canceled my subscription, the few songs I didn't manage to download managed to vanish. LOL Please don't waste your time and money on Kazaa their not worth the headache.

Great Site For Finding Music - Impressed With Down
Great site for finding music - impressed with downloads. Yes it costs money, but you have to weigh your options. Here is my problem with Kazaa - after I downloaded songs, some would not play. It gives you a licensing error. I wrote to the company and they sent me a list of things to do to fix the problem. I did exactly what they said and it worked for a couple of songs, but then I had the same problem. Out of 10 songs that I downloaded about 3 won't even play. Very disapointed - just cancelled membership.

Nooo To Kazaa!! Yes You Have 'unlimited' Downloads
NOOO TO KAZAA!! Yes you have 'unlimited' downloads from their music library, as long as you pay $20 a month... But understand, when you end your subscription, you can NO LONGER listen to those 'downloaded' files. Thats $240/yr for music you DO NOT own. Not a good investment for my bucks.

I Tried Kazaa Out For A Night Because I Thought It
I tried Kazaa out for a night because I thought it would be a good idea to get a bunch of music for a party. I couldn't really find a whole lot of the songs that I wanted so I emailed the company asking to cancel my subscription. I thought it was a little odd to cancel that way so I watched it for a couple of weeks to see if it charged my card. I didn't see anything so I thought I was good. 10 months later I saw a charge on my credit card from this company. I went back and checked my statements and sure enough they had been deducting $19.99 out of my account for the past 10 months. I never used the stupid service after the first night. I called into customer service to see what they could do. I explained my situation to the customer service rep and her first response was to ask me if I wanted to lower it to the $9.99 subscription. I said no, that I wanted to cancel it because I never used it after the first night and that I was hoping to get at least some of that money back. She basically told me that there was nothing they could do about that but that if I could show proof that the company should have canceled it that maybe I could get a credit back. So basically I paid $200 to download maybe 5 songs. Don't ever use this company. They are not a good company and I will never, ever, ever, ever recommend them to anyone and if you're smart, you'll stay away. No legitimate company would be ok charging $200 for 5 downloads.
This is the kind of stuff I want to hear about when I am checking on the character of the way a company does business. Apparently, this is not the only person to have a problem. I didn't like the way the first page of the website was presented. There was no information about the company and from the few album covers they presented, they would not have much that I would like. So I came here to check reviews... even that makes them look like they are well recommended. Not for me.
I found this review very helpful because...This is exactly what happened to me. I just got off the phone with a smart-ellic customer service rep that basically told me I was computer illiterate. I explained that about a year ago I looked into a Kazaa account looking for a few songs and it was not what I wanted. I then unistalled the program that night. My husband notices $19.98 on our online banking from Kazaa that has been coming out since last May. The rep confirmed that there had been zero activity on my account, but said that since I hadn't called to cancel it didn't matter that I had uninstalled the program. She then continued to compare it to my cable service and that whether or not I watch TV every single day I still am charged for that service. To this I responded, "I get a bill in the mail every month for our cable!!!!! They do know draw from my account with no form of notification." She had nothing to say to this other than, well you should have gone over the terms of conditions again. AWFUL. TERRIBLE. DO NOT RECOMEND.

I Love Kazaa. I'm Talking About The New, Legal Kaz
I love Kazaa. I'm talking about the new, legal Kazaa. Wikipedia says that Kazaa has been legal since 2006...
I'm saving a lot of money now that I use Kazaa, coz I used to buy a CD probably every week, for $20.
That's about $80 a month. Now I can listen to as much music as I want from Kazaa, for just $20 a month! It's a no-brainer.

I've Been A Kazaa Subscriber For Over A Year Now,
I've been a Kazaa subscriber for over a year now, and I'm really happy with it. The old Kazaa is gone, now it's an all-you-can-eat subscription service for $20 a month.
The way I see it is that I can either:
a) Look for illegal music all over the internet, limewire, etc, and then worry about bad quality music, or viruses, or trojans, or even getting sued, or
b) I can pay $20 a month to download as much quality music as I want, from a legitimate, legal service.
It's a really simple choice.
I think Kazaa is great.
I found this review very helpful because it talks about the new Kazaa, which has changed a lot in the last couple years.
