I recently purchased the Veyron DAB+ plug-in car radio from Auto Electronics. The DAB radio is brilliant. It fits directly in to any standard UK cigarette lighter. The controls are simple, the on screen display is bright and clear and the reception provided by the supplied antenna is generally good (in high quality reception areas).

As I live in quite a poor signal area I needed to purchase an enhanced antenna for the Veyron DAB radio - this is NO reflection on the radio unit itself, its simply because of where I live. I didn't know where I was going to get an enhanced antenna from so I went back to Auto Electronic to seek advice. Their customer service has been outstanding. They were able to provide me with a newly launched enhanced antenna for the Veyron radio. Of course this didn't come free of charge however the price was really good and very comparable to other enhanced antennas on the market. The other thing to be aware of is that I would recommend you purchase this antenna from Auto Electronics because different brands might have different connections and fittings.

Installation of both the Veyron DAB radio and the Enhanced Antenna was simple. All done within about 15 minutes and the antenna cable fits snugly in the gaps between your dashboard or under the glove compartment and up the side panel near your door and windscreen..... it really is very simple and looks neat when attached to the inside of your front windscreen. The other big bonus is that I didn't personally have any interference issues from my front windscreen even though the glass is heated.

Having fitted the enhanced antenna I went for a drive around the east midlands and through some really built up areas.... I can honestly say the reception on all the national stations remained fully stable and reception of local stations also remained stable but within the broadcast regions. The reception is solid and strong and I can now pick up even more stations than before. The antenna has really improved my in-car listening experience.

The purchase of the Veyron DAB+ plug-in car radio AND the enhanced antenna is well worth the money and is so much cheaper than considering a fully integrated DAB radio - ideal for those on a smaller budget or for standard car drivers who don't feel the need to pay for an expensive full upgrade.

I am so impressed with the product and service offered by Auto Electronics that I've actually gone back and bought another radio and enhanced antenna for my brother as a Christmas present! I've been pleased with the speed and efficiency of the purchase and delivery process and even more than that, it is so pleasing to report that the customer service and after sales service has been outstanding! I bought a Dynavin unit for my X-5 2004 for an upgrade, since the original unit started to fail (freezing screen). The new unit arrived on time, I installed it and it worked almost perfectly, except for the sound, with volume going down for short periods (1 second) and going up again. I started to contact the customer support and always received on time explanations for the installation process. About the sound problem, I got a new CAN bus unit that solved the problem.

I really appreciate the help after sale. It was an expensive unit so as a customer you expect to have it working properly, and the Dynavin staff made sure I got the best possible support.

And, by the way, the product is really a great upgrade, keeping the original style.

I bought a ViseeO blue tooth integration kit for a Porsche and ran into a few issues on the install - nothing to do with the product but other components I was using. In short I damaged the unit! Auto Electronics helped me connect with the manufacturers and I was very impressed by the help and support I got for a problem that was basically my own fault.

Highly recommended!

As a suggestion for improvement, and as these units are for very specific cars, I think the instructions could be clearer. Especially with help identifying such things as a switched live for the power. You need to be confident and understand a bit about the topic before taking on a self install. Some of the promotion suggest 'easy installation' - which it is, provided you already know what you're doing.

Great products and fantastic staff. Purchased a few items for my vehicle and 100% happy with the lot. Highly recommended!
