Electronics Clearance Online

I ordered a Sony 'reconditioned' car audio from this company via Ebay. They sent a unit that clearly hadn't been checked. It had no reception and the bluetooth mic didn't work.

When I complained they said it must have been installed wrong. I said it was installed by a professional car audio installer.

They asked me to return it if I wanted a refund. I said that it cost me £50 to fit it, they were not interested.

When I returned it they said they would charge me £40 for the metal bracket that I didn't need therefore discarded. They also said it worked fine, thus calling me a liar.

I left bad feedback on Ebay and they somehow managed to give Ebay a story good enough to remove it.

My conclusion: This firm sends out faulty returned unchecked equipment in the hope that most of it is okay, but when it isn't they think that offering a refund is sufficient.

There are good online retailers out there, but this is NOT one of them - AVOID
