They Do Not Cover Damaged In Transit.
Received damaged, dented guitar - large dent in laquer with packing foam embedded into it. Guitar was due as a gift and I did not contact Andertons within 48 hours. They are stating I've done the damage and charging 20% if I want to return the guitar
Second Faulty Amp Item I Have Received Recently From Their W
Previously I had never had much problems with this company and have ordered several main items.
But very recently had two faulty amps from different makes and models sent to me via their warehouse.
The items that Andertons have sent me also look like the amps had been returned to Andertons by other customers as one of amp had clearly been repackaged and has a bit of green masking type tape on the opened manual package and the power plug package on one of the amps.
This is the second faulty amp item I have received recently from their warehouse.
I also was requested to post videos on YouTube so they would action the collection of the faulty items.
Also, in correspondence via email and phone call to them after the second faulty amp I indicated that I would like a refund. After a week of the item being returned, I receive an email saying they will not get anymore stock of the item amp till around-August and we will keep me informed of any changes. So, yet another phone call and email to reiterate that I require a refund. And for this company to confirm and understand the request.
As per the above on stock I was thinking I had seen in their website they had 10 of these items, so curious why they sold out already? But on looking on their web they had 7 in stock and the next day this went up to 8. So, was this due to my faulty return? do not know.
If you do order from this company, make sure you check the item is fully ok and working.

Very Deceitful
Ordered online when showing 4 in stock but after taking payment and waiting 2 weeks I enquired about my order. I was told it’s not in stock and will be available in 2 more weeks. When I said it was in stock when I placed and payed for my ordered they told me “ couldn’t have been mate”
Well why would I order if that was the case. Absolutely terrible Service. I’ve googled the reviews for Andertons and many people have had experience the same as mine. Even the website indeed for staff reviews tells of incompetence.

Unplayable Guitar Sent Out
Ordered a new epiphone and asked for a full set up and a new set of strings (10's) which I'd stated I'd pay for. Guitar arrived the same week but the quick delivery was the only saving grace. The guitar itself was unplayable, a very dry cracking fretboard, loose frets at 8, 11, 12, 16 and 19, fret buzz on atleast 6 frets on each string, and there were finger marks all over it. So they've sent out what can only be described as a factory second at best, they've not looked at it or cleaned it let alone set it up. I only ordered with them due to all the positive reviews I'd seen, but I've had a really bad experience. I would have sent it back but I have absolutely zero confidence in the company rectifying it. I'll stick with P.M.T or GuitarGuitar in future.

It's sometimes hard getting musical equipment delivered to the Middle East, But Anderton's always gets it done. They're always very clear about what items are in stock and make a point of testing items that are only under warranty in the UK before sending them abroad.
I have recommended Anderton's to several friends with complete confidence and will continue to do so.

Purchased a Palmer PDI-06 MkII 16ohms Attenutor at £179; great price!
After ordering and receiving order confirmation I received a follow up email advising me the item was out of stock and it gave the option to cancel my order. I appreciated the honesty and transparency. I decided to wait despite the stock issue, to make up for the item being out of stock they upgraded my delivery so I could receive it sooner.
I had to return the item initially as there was a minor fault and the mail order team were great. Very fast response and they exchanged the faulty unit no problem.
In short, they did everything possible to ensure I had a good customer experience and despite the two hiccoughs I would definitely order from them again because of the way the handled me as a customer.
