Slow In Processing The Order And The Cancellation Request
I ordered a Korg Kross 61 Music Work Station online from Rocking Rooster. I liked the reasonable price (about 40 pounds cheaper than other sellers) and the "next day shipping" shown on their website. I ordered the item on Friday, and they said it would be delivered next Monday. The item didn't arrive on Monday. I waited until Wednesday but I didn't hear from them by phone or via email. My online order status kept showing "processing order".
I sent an inquire email. They called me on Thursday, saying that the item wouldn't be available until the end of the month or the next month, which means I would have to wait for 3 to 7 weeks. They said Korg would start selling Kross 73 (more keys and of course more expensive), which turned out to be a total lie (or misunderstanding on the part of the sales representative), and they said I could wait for that "new" Kross. I said I would have to think about that, and they promised they would send me a comparison of the two products via email. They never sent me the comparison (of course they couldn't, because Korg is not gonna start selling a Kross with 73 keys!)
I decided to cancel my order, so emailed them on the same day. I didn't hear from them. So I called them on Friday, making myself clear that I would want them to process my cancellation request ASAP. Then they tried to convince me that I should purchase a demo of the same item, which they would get next Wednesday and check the condition. I said no. They were so persistent, but I just told them to cancel my order. Only Monday next week did they process the cancellation. And then they called me again, asking me if I would want to purchase the demo.
I didn't like how slow they were in processing my cancellation request, and how irresponsible they were - they didn't even show on their website that the item was out of stock, they didn't even let me know about that until I inquired them about the status of my order. I will never use this company. Ever again.

I order a Yamaha Clavinova and received excellent delivery service from Rocking Rooster. They are part of Rimmers Music. The sales man couldn't do enough to help us. He knew the range inside out and explained all the features very well. They delivered it and built it in my house and then proceeded to give me another demonstration and help to get em going. I cannot praise them enough for all the help they gave me.
I would recommend this company to anyone.

My old trusted keyboard died on me and after a search round I found that Rocking Rooster gave the best deal on a Yamaha PSR-S650. I needed a new instrument for a gig on Tuesday night and as they gave next day delivery I ordered it from there on Sunday afternoon (four in stock according to their eBay site although I ordered direct from their website). As soon as the shop opened on Monday, I telephoned to confirm that the keyboard was in stock and would defiantly arrive on Tuesday, this I was assured. Shortly after the telephone call I received an email saying it had been dispatched.
I arranged to have an unpaid day off work so that I would be home and have time to have practice on it before I had to use it in the evening.
Tuesday morning I received another email saying that it would arrive on Friday. I telephoned straight away to find out what was happening and was told that they were out of stock and were promised another delivery on Thursday. I asked what happened to the one that was in stock and was dispatched yesterday and was told that that was a mistake and that they never had any in stock but the manager told me that he would ring round to see if they had any in stock in their shops and get it delivered to me tomorrow. No good whatsoever as I need one today so obviously I cancelled my order and a refund was made straight away.
So I am now a day’s wages down and having to ring and drive around to try and find a shop that has the instrument for sale. If they had emailed/telephone me as soon as they had known that they were out of stock I could have done something about it but to rub salt into the wound according to eBay they still have two in stock (four on Sunday) but it £85 more than from their site. Make of that what you will. Would I recommend them - definitely not.

Thanks Rocking Rooster!! I bought a Spur TD72 electronic drum kit off you at Christmas that came with all the kit & kaboodle its awesome! Im only a beginner and wanted an electronic kit I could fit into an attic space (and I have neighbours!) I was talking to a friend who had bought one of these about 12 months ago and said it was ace for the money so I took the plunge and bought one. Delivery was next day! Now I'm well on me way to being Manchester's answer to Neil Peart! (well maybe not!) Really happy with it! Rock!

Ordered a Marshall amp as a gift on the 21st December, got a call on Christmas eve saying it would be 2 weeks. Why hadn't they told me this immediately?(I assume so I couldn't change the order). The guy was helpful at first but I didn't get any sort of apology or further notice about when it might be coming.
If you want your stuff in time for chrimbo then you should be ordering some time in advance. The only positive thing being that it was a good deal on offer compared to other retailers.

I bought a Casio CDP-120 digital piano from Rocking Rooster via eBay on a Sunday night. It arrived on the expected day (Tuesday), but unfortunately one of the keys was more touch-sensitive than all the others (manufacturing fault).
Rocking Rooster quickly arranged a replacement to be despatched to arrive on the day we requested (following Tuesday) and for the original to be collected that morning as well so that we only had to wait in once.
It all came together perfectly and we now have a working digital piano.
You can't ask for better service!

Just wanted to say how impressed I was with Rocking Rooster when I bought a digital piano off them a few years ago. It was the lowest price I was able to find anywhere - one guy from a Manchester shop whistled with disbelief when I told him the price Rocking Rooster were offering on the piano. (I was asking him if he could beat the price at the time).
The piano turned up on time - with a team of two people to deliver it.
They also included a free yamaha piano stool in the deal, which was a pleasant surprise, as we weren't aware it was included.
Couldn't be more impressed. Great service at rock bottom price.

Most of the time we're only driven to write reviews when we've had a really awful time with a company... but then there's the times when you think, wow. You know what... I have had some exceptional customer service and these guys deserve their praise to be sung!! I bought a keyboard + stand + headphones from rocking rooster and of course did the usual checking of reviews to make sure were ok, particularly re: the next day delivery as I'd need to book the time off work. Saw a mix of reviews but as I say, people tend to write these generally when things go wrong, not when things happen as expected! I placed the order (specifically AFTER 2pm as wanted it to be delivered in two days time, not next day) + phoned RR just to give some additional delivery instructions. Customer service was excellent and best of all, the courier service was SPOT ON and continuously update you with the parcel's progress via email and text message. Best of all was the one hour time slot that they inform you of in the morning - and they delivered precisely within this! I'm so flipping thrilled with the service that it's driven me to write this review - this has to be the best and most efficient online service I've used EVER. Just brilliant - TOP MARKS!!!
