Albufeira, Oura Praia Hotel

Apartments were great...BUT....food could have been a lot better..lots of room for improvement in that area....we arrived at 9.25 pm, by the time we checked in it was 9.35pm...as we were half board we enquired about our evening meal only to be told we were 5 minutes too late 9.30pm being the cut off time for halfboarders although the restaurant was still open and serving ..and we had just arrived after making a journey lasting 9 hours, they would not make an allowance for us so we went out for a meal..after tasting the food the next day, we didn't miss much so maybe it was just as well, but breakfast was acceptable as it was self-explanatory but evening meal could have had labels so one can tell what one was eating, most of it was a mystery menu, ...the apartments were first class and cannot be faulted...although we did ask to change rooms after being woken up at 6am from banging and shouting below our room (avoid room 308)..our second room(420)was sunny and quiet and suited us very well...staff were very obliging and polite.Evening entertainment was enjoyable but loud, so take your ear plugs with you.
