Brilliant Hotel: Have Been Before And Would Go Again.

Me and my friend have just got back from a brilliant holiday in the Algarve.

I've stayed in the Dom Pancho before after a relative recommended it to me so couldn't wait to go back.

The rooms have everything you needs. There's air con, a safety deposit box and a TV if you want them (you have to pay for them), otherwise there's everything you'll need. The kitchen area is well equipped, the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are nice, there's a balcony to each room and that's pretty much it.

The pool is quite big compared to other hotels I've seen or stayed in. Granted I didn't go during the school holidays, but there's always been room to sun bathe. My only complaint would be about people saving sun beds, but that's more the fault the ignorant people that clear off for the day and leave a couple of towels over sunbeds so that no one else can use them.

I would definately recommend the pool bar for lunch. The food is really nice and at reasonable prices. The drinks (as you'd expect) are a little bit over priced so it's worth filling up the fridge in your room and taking your own drinks to the pool.

The Dom Pancho is only a 5 minute walk from the strip, so it's VERY close to all the bars, shops and restaurants without been so close that it's noisey on a night.

The only thing that might put anyone off is the 10 minute walk to the beach (which involves a big of a steep hill!) but once you're there, you're there, and every time we went there were plenty of sun beds and parasols available, so it's not too bad.

FINALLY... two places to recommend:

1) The New Dubliner. It's an awesome irish bar (look out for the green neon lights) which you'll find if you walk to the end of the street where Dom Pancho is, turn left and walk about 300 yards. The staff are lovely, they have an amazing guy who plays guitar and sings on a Tuesday and a Thirsday AND they make the most amazing strawberry daiquiris which are definately worth a visit.

2) Rumours. This is on the corner right near the hotel and the food is lovely. I got a 16oz T-bone steak with all the trimmings for about 11 Euros and it was the best meal I had all week.

Best Holiday I Have Ever Been On, I Loved The Dom

Best holiday I have ever been on, I loved the Dom Pancho Aparthotel! Incredible value for money! Highly recommended!

Lovely, clean & modern rooms! Great pool, cafe & restaurant.

The staff on reception are very helpful and friendly.

It's a bit of a walk to the strip but that's it!
